This golf ball retriever works well overall. Easy to collect the balls and easy to release. It's a nice compact way to store your balls. The opening on the side of the bottom end is convenient to check if there are any balls currently in it.BUT: The overall length is a bit short so I still have to hunch over a to gather the balls I'm 5' 9". This defeats the purpose of why I ordered this retriever in the first place! Another thing that is annoying is that there is no latch to release the balls from the top end. So you have to either bend down to unlatch and release the balls, or bring the bottom end up to your waist level to release the balls, having them drop and bounce everywhere.
