I have to admit I had my doubts. The outer ring material looks like ribbon, and the diffuser looked like it might not be adequate. Now that the light is in place, I like it very much. Yes, there is an outer and inner ring, the inner one being made of a heavier material. The light is delicate, but nobody should be swinging from it. The lighting is excellent. I am using mid-range LEDs, and the look of the light’s color is good, as is the direction of the lighting (down instead of up or around like some chandeliers). It gives the dining room has an inviting glow. I wish I had purchased the light a long time ago. Finally, my light is on a dimmer switch, so I can adjust the intensity of the lighting for eating dinner, looking at a computer screen, my mood, and so on. All levels of light are nice. Having said that, I would recommend the light even if I couldn’t dim it. Installation is simple IF you are used to doing this sort of thing. I timed my friend. It took him exactly 30 minutes from opening the box to flipping the switch.

Extremely delicate, poorly designed. The diffuser doesn’t screw to the light, it’s held in place with metal tabs that need to be manually bent, eventually they’ll snap, not sure how to clean the diffuser that isn’t held in place. The plastic wrap used to cover the delicate fabric was placed on the frame before the white paint had dried, it sticks as you try to peel it off. Had I known how poorly made this light was before I took down the old light and started assembly/ installation I would never had purchased. Now that it’s hanging, I’ll keep it. Not worth the hassle of taking it down, boxing it up, returning and installing a new light. Looks ok from 6’ away.

For the price, this light first presents as an OK value for the money. As others have noted, it feels rather cheap however I wasn’t expecting (and don’t need) a sturdy hanging light. It gives a decent amount of light over a bar area, though I found that some bulbs flicker (not using on a dimmer switch) and it took trial and error to find some that stayed steady-on. ** My biggest gripe is that, after just 6 months, the cork is separating and/or cracking along the top of shade (in pics you can likely see without zooming, but zooming you can def see it, along with a cobweb, LOL). ** This is fairly noticeable as more light leaks out of that area. Six months use out of a light that is now falling apart is lame. I will attempt to contact vendor for replacement shade or end of replacing altogether. Changing light fixtures in a room with tall ceilings is no small job so very disappointed.

La lámpara se ve muy bien, está muy linda. Funciona muy bien, pero sí tienen que tener en cuenta que para colocarla tiene sus "bemoles". El acrílico parecería estar ligeramente más grande, pero me realidad no lo está. Cuesta trabajo meterlo hasta casi donde están los focos para luego bajarlo en su lugar. Hay que tener cuidado con eso. Lo que más estuvimos batallando fue en colocar los tubos del cableado a la lámpara porque la cuerda donde se atornilla está muy defectuosa y se barre!!! Tuvimos que recurrir a trucos caseros para poder colocar todo. En general con un poco de paciencia funciona, pero sí hay que tomar en cuenta que es posible tener que hacerle "arreglitos" a la lámpara para instalarla.
