I didn't know what to expect from this book but I loved the honest and transparent stories. Each author told of a relationship that featured disagreements or differences. They told of broken friendships, difficult marriages, and wounded parent/child relationships. In each case, the author didn't give a pat answer or easy solution but told of how patience and love and forgiveness made a difference. They offered encouragement and comfort from God's Word. Even though I wasn't sure I would relate to this book, I'm keeping it on my shelf because I know there will be a time when I need to review its encouragement.

What I most appreciate about Come Sit With Me is it tackles just about every life issue I've experienced or those close to me have. The authors don't shy away from the relational or life difficulties that can break...or bend...you. While they don't tie everything up in a nice little bow, they do offer encouragement, insight, and hope through their experiences. At the same time, they're always pointing to Jesus and helping to have new eyes to see Him in the midst of our pain and heartache.

Love the simplicity and depth of each story, and that there are so many different stories that we all can relate to in large or small ways. Definitely gives me some calm each night and pick this up instead of scrolling my phone.

This book is so unique and so special! Grateful for each author who shares her story of a difficult life experience -- everything from voting differently in marriage to friends who fall away, sitting with people in their pain to disagreeing with family members. Each entry is so timely to the world today, and offers the real-life hope of Jesus. Everyone needs to read this book!
