Born and raised in South Africa, I now live in the Northern Cape in a small mining community by the name of Kathu. At 35 years old I have been with my husband for 16 years, although we have only been married for nine. Together we have a beautiful 16-year-old daughter.

For years I wanted to follow my passion for writing but always doubted myself. After finding my publisher and releasing my first novel I was able to build up my confidence and move forward with my fledgling career.

Irene can't believe that she let herself get into this place she should have seen the signs of her cop boyfriend being an abuser.She works at a woman's shelter for abused women for gods sake.When she wakes up barely able to more she can't see out of one eye its swollen closed she struggles to her bedroom an their he is asleep on the bed she grabs her purse,phone and charger and keys and leaves calling her friend Kaiya asking if she can visit.Kaiya screams yes.She says ill see you in a few hours.When she gets to the clubhouse she thinks she should go to a motel and hide til her face heals up but a guy knocks on her window an asks are you ok?She says yes I'm here to see Kaiya.There are so many twists and turns to this story you will be riveted til the very last page.I can hardly wait to see what's next by this multi talented author.

This was my first book by this author and I thought it was well written and engaging, with good pacing and flow. Irene is a strong and independent heroine, and all the club members are likable and their distinct personalities come across clearly despite me not having read the previous books in the series, which is a testament to the author's skill. Preacher is also a great side character and I hope to see more of him in other books. I wish Beast and Irene had more time together on the page, but she spends a lot of time pushing him away. I also appreciate the hero is a POC, as are several side characters, which makes the story more interesting and realistic. The big issue from the heroine's past gets resolved in a clean and legal way, which is a relief. I'm glad I picked up this book and will be reading more from the author.

Irene is a strong, independent woman who takes nonsense from no one. Her boyfriend who’s a cop abuses her and she flees, vowing no yo never go back. She goes to her best friend Kaiya who happens to live at the MC Clubhouse. She forms an instant bond with the men in the clubhouse & in turn she receives their respect & protective bond with her. There’s instant attraction with the man they call The Beast. They must each decide where this unexpected bond is leading them when danger soon approaches. The sexiness and steaminess gets hotter & more protective.
I absolutely loved these main characters and exciting storyline. I had no choice but yo keep reading. Loved it and can’t wait for more!

I had to start at the beginning of the Gypsy Bastard MC series so I wouldn't miss any of the thrills prior to this book. Oh I love this band of brothers. The stories are intense, full of action with plenty of steamy times in and out of the bedroom and anywhere else the moment takes them. I can't wait for more in this series hopefully.

Irene's problems are her problems… right? When do you ask for help??? So Beast is the help she needs.. wait no dont need. Action pack. This smart, sassy refuse to cower is going to resist or take Beast by the horns. Intense. Realistic situations that make you want to read the passage twice. Good read.

The Beast is the fourth book in the Gypsy Bastard MC series and features Irene and Beast. Irene was in an abusive relationship and finally decided to leave. With nowhere really safe to go, she runs to her friend Kaiya and the Gypsy Bastard compound. The MC take her in and when she meets Beast, the two have an undeniable attraction.

Both Irene and Beast are not quick to jump into anything serious but not stubborn enough to deny their attraction. I really enjoyed reading the progression of their relationship. Irene didn't want to be in another relationship that took from her and Beast didn't think he was good enough for Irene. Jade did a really nice job at taking two people and making both their strengths and weaknesses mesh beautifully.

Irene was both fierce and vulnerable and I think that's what made me love her so much. To the outside world, she was a survivor. She spoke her mind and wasn't afraid to push back when she needed to. Behind closed doors, she was feminine and soft for Beast and I melt every time when a FMC is like that. Beast and Irene were so hot together.

Beast was dominant and possessive. He was a protector and a big teddy bear for his girl. Their dynamic was sweet. Even with their romance being at the forefront, the suspenseful plot kept me on the edge of my seat waiting to see what would happen! Overall, The Beast was action packed and sexy and the end set up for the next story!

"I want you. I want your problems to be mine and I want to be the one you turn to when you need something. I want you to be my woman and I'm not going to let you simply slip through my fingers."

I really enjoyed reading Beast by Jade Marshall. I love her writing and have devoted her other series and standalone. She’s gritty, writes original stories that have action, suspense, spice, and angst. The characters in this book were complex and had an instant combustible chemistry. This book was heartbreaking and heartwarming. This book is a dark MC romance, and touches on dark themes and topics. The storyline was captivating and had me turning the pages until the end!!! I loved the ending because it will lead us into the next book and I’m biting my nails to see what happens next.

Irene is independent, loyal, and a total BA!!!! I felt for her and what she had to go through but loved her response when having enough. She’s strong and determined. Beast is broody, possessive, and knows what he wants. I loved his determination to help Irene and never give up attitude towards her. Their chemistry is undeniable and ready to explode like a lit fuse on a powder keg. The angst and push and pull was scorching hot and I loved every minute of it!!!.
