After so much phlegm from "whey protein" - redemption
I would buy an extra star to give it 6!We are not tree huggers. We are not vegans. We thought we were doing good things by introducing whey protein into our children's way of eating. Wrong. We love milk. The only problem with when we drink milk is we get that phlegmy mucus feeling in the back of our throats. AND the weird ingredients. I mean REALLY weird.The daily phlegm was a familiar occurrence with one of our sons in particular.I began looking at Naked Shake. I was incredulous. I compared the labels between Naked Shake and the whey protein that we were buying. By the way the whey protein we were purchasing head tens of thousands of four and five-star reviews.Take a look at the label and compare the ingredients. I'm not as concerned about the whey as I am about all the other concocted chemicals and additives. I dare say I was shocked.Look at the ingredients on Naked Shake. Incredible.Shout out to these people.Yes, I know it cost a little bit more per ounce. But what it cost extra keeps our children from eating any of these chemicals that has no reason for being in anything that we eat.I was at a friend's house and saw the whey protein up on his shelf. I really think that he thought he was doing good for his body. I am not the type of person to question or counter someone's belief especially in something like this.I figure by the end of the year we will probably have an extra hundred maybe $150 expended to purchase Naked Shake versus any of the other whey proteins.In this case I believe it's not the best cost per ounce. I think it's the best ingredients.Oh; by the way we also use other variations that happen to be vegan. Again; much more expensive but much worth the extra cost.By the way we run the United States Milk Drinking Team and Milk Hall of Fame. So we are big milkies. The whey just seems to magnify the phlegm.
