It's nice...but you'll have to figure out for yourself the amount of powder to serum ratio

It's nice...but you'll have to figure out for yourself the amount of powder to serum ratio
This is an interesting product to use and I think it's kind of unique in having to mix the powder and liquid together. I do like the product but I have no idea about the amount of liquid to powder ratio I was supposed to use. So, If I did too much serum it made my skin tacky and not enough it didn't go on as smoothly as it should. It would be nice to know the exact amount of product to use, so I know the exact amount that makes the product work most effectively. It doesn't have a scent so that's great and once I sort of got the right consistency (Still have no idea what the company wants it to be) it's a lovely product. Overall, It's nice but when mixing a product...I need to know how much powder and how much liquid is needed.

This product is fantastic!! My skin has noticeably become brighter and my dark spots have gotten lighter. I look younger than my actual age so I’m happy with using this product. I definitely recommend this!!

I want to get the only negative I have to say about this product out of the way first. The instructions state you mix 2 to 3 pumps of the wrinkle serum with “ an appropriate amount”of face brightening powder. What that actually means I have no idea and if it wasn’t for one picture( the last one on the product page),I would not have any kind of guidance to tell me how much powder to put with the liquid. I’m hoping that it is an accurate representation of how much powder to use and not just a picture taken to show the two products.
The truth is that I really don’t have any better idea, so that’s what I’ve stuck with, using this rather guesstimate measure. I’ve been using this daily for 27 days. November was a really traumatic month for me with emergency surgery and almost 2 weeks in the hospital. About the only thing I could control was the use of facial/body products and while I haven’t been using this long enough to see any dramatic results, it does feel like it is adding needed moisture to my face.
The company states that “85% of users saw smoother skin after eight weeks”, so I have a ways to go to see if it improves my rather dull skin tone. For now all I can say is I haven’t seen any negative affects but I do wonder if the powder will last as long as the serum (honestly I really don’t think so).
Better directions regarding that appropriate amount would be extremely useful. I guess I’ll know if I run out of one (powder or lotion) first that my idea of an appropriate amount was incorrect.

It is a very unique formula. It has no scent, but I feels like shea butter. I've been using it for over a week and my skin feels brighter and firmer.

My profile:
- 39, female
- lots and lots of different products in AM and PM rotation
- use a combination of actives and strong acids twice daily (including adapalene 0.1% gel), six days per week
- love heavy products
- slug every night
- generally normal skin but tends to dry out due to daily use of acids, actives, etc

I love skincare and will try out just about any product, as long as it seems to be a quality one with good ingredients.

I have multiple Vitamin C serums and creams that I rotate throughout the week, with potency from "undisclosed" to 20%. I know how unstable Vitamin C is, so I always worry about my products going bad, but I keep at it and hope for the best. (And so far it's been a great ingredients for me.)

I've never tried a powdered version of Vitamin C, but I've seen people on forums who use it. So, even though I've been curious, I figured I'd just leave it to the pros to mix it up for me.

Vitamin C is such a great product with countless skin benefits - one of the most prominent ones is skin brightening. It can help even out your skin tone and just make your skin glow in general. It's definitely one of my favorite ingredients.

So, when I came across this product, I jumped on it. I figured, even though it's a powder, it's going to come with specific instruction on how to use it. I mean, surely a company selling a $75-ish product that's notorious for being unstable, they will include well written instructions, right?

Well, they didn't. You're supposed to put some of the serum into the palm of your hand, then add "an appropriate amount" of powder to it and mix it up. Huh?? What in the world is an appropriate amount?? I'm still baffled when I think of this and want to use sooo many question marks.

No, really, for $75, how do you not at least include a tiny little spoon and tell us to use "this" many spoonfulls per "this" many pumps of serum? Or, to make it stronger, use this much; to make it less potent, use this much? How did it not occur to anyone that there may be people who don't know what they're doing (all of us, when it comes to this product), and they'll end up using too much powder per "serving" and burn their skin? And maybe they'll sue then?

Oh, I could go on and on about this, but I think you get the point.

I'm giving this three stars because the serum feels good on my skin, I like the ability to mix my own Vitamin C product, and I kind of believe these are good quality ingredients. I knocked off two stars for, well, all of the above.

Silly gooses.

:)
