Comfortable hat, netting impacts visibility

What I like about this hat is the broad brim, the hidden pocket that can hold a cool pack or money/credit cards, the adjustable tie that holds the hat on in the wind, and that the netting snaps easily on/off.

What I didn't expect was that the netting would impact visibility. With other hats that have a cloth cover over all but the eyes, I have a clear view of where I'm walking, so I'm not sure how often I'll use the netting, but I do like the hat. Without the netting, this hat won't protect me from UV rays bouncing off surfaces, which is why I purchased the netting, so I'm a little disappointed that I didn't consider a colored netting would impact visibility.

Also, the review about the light grey having a slight blue-green tint was helpful as both the hat and netting match in color.

I have bought 5 of these hats over the last several years for myself and family members. Unfortunately skin cancer is very common and most dermatologists will recommend a "wide brimmed hat" while in the sun. This hat protects my head, face and neck against harmful UVA/UVB rays. I wear it while gardening and at the pool or beach. It's very lightweight and dries fast. The bonus is that its stylish and I don't feel self conscious while wearing it around others. It fits great and is very cute! I love these hats!

This might work for some people, but the crown is too shallow.

It arrives with very ingrained folds. I guess the purchaser is to work that out for themselves.

Don't see myself using this much as there is no way to put my long hair up top and have it securely seated.

I love these hats! They breath but have a good weighted brim so it holds its shape.

I love the secret pocket in the head area, I was able to hide money in there while traveling. You can also put a maluable freezer pack there to keep you cool.

You can adjust the tightness of the hat with a draw cord at the back but the size is perfect for me as it. I love that it also has the chin strap. You can tuck it in if you don't need it.

I've worn both the khaki and the green hat everyday for weeks while backpacking in the sun and, even after washing them, they both still look new. The fabric and stitching are top quality.

Great find and great price. Shipping was really fast as well. I highly recommend!
