Worthwhile and fun
I was already told that the battery needed replacing when I got my oil changed and was planning on replacing it, but I wasn't sure if a bad battery was making my Check Engine light come on, so I bought the Ancel AD310 OBD2 code reader just for the heck of it. I plugged the OBD2 code reader into the jack. With the car off, the reader still got power from the plug and the reader prompted me to turn on the ignition. Once on, the reader menu came up. It was trivial to get to the stored and pending codes which happened to show the same code; "P2610, ECM/PCM Engine Off Timer Performance", which meant nothing to me. I looked up the code on the reader "DTC lookup" but it didn't add any info on what it meant. Note: when trying to enter the code for the lookup, moving to the next digit you have to simultaneously press the Enter and one of the arrows to move. I forgot if its the UP or DOWN. I figured it out by trial and error. Anyway, to solve what the code meant, I went to the Internet, searched for "2017 Mazda 6 P2610 OBT2". There I found a gob load of descriptions, one of which said that a low battery could sometimes make the ECM register a fault. The new battery made the Check Engine light go away without me having to erase it so I couldn't test the Ancel AD310 code reader's ability to do that. All in all, the tool was intuitive, simple (for what I wanted to do) and a handy tool to have in my possession.

After personally changing the oxygen sensor on my Kia Sorento 2012 I went ahead and bought this and they got delivered that same day. I went ahead and plugged it in and it was super simple super easy to navigate through it it gives you a bunch of information a bunch of different details when reading live data stream. It supports different languages like English German French Spanish Dutch Russian Portuguese you can even find your VIN number or other different information. It's small compact and so far pretty reliable. There's even an option to adjust the contrast of the screen making it easier to read, which makes the letters darker or not as dark.
