I’ve had the Pyrex 1 cup and 2 cup measures for over 20 years without any issues, so it was a no-brainer to choose this one when I wanted a larger measure to also mix in. I actually bought two one-quart measures - this one, and a tall narrower one (not Pyrex). The taller one is better for measuring (marks are farther apart), but it’s too narrow to really mix in, and it’s more difficult to scrape out the contents using a rubber spatula. It’s also a lot less sturdy than this Pyrex. Oh, well, the tall one is going to be perfect for drinks, while this Pyrex is going to be great for everything else - i can’t wait to mix up a batch of pancake batter! Or maybe some cornbread…
