--- Ben Burgess Jr. has captured every possible aspect of fatherhood while tackling bad habits and tough choices. Initially, the main character, Nick, relies on everybody else for help with his daughter and soon takes them all for granted, but when they all desert him, he is forced to wake up and fully face the situation he is in. The writing style of Daddy's Girl is so fluent and easy to absorb, painting the perfect picture in my head of the events in play. The sequence of events was brilliantly delivered, starting with the panic of a premature birth, then how he had actually met the mother of his child - a woman who is married to a mobster and wanted to get back at her husband after he had cheated on her - before continuing to Lynn's childhood and Nick's realization that he is solely responsible for his daughter's well-being and safety. Every one of the characters was complex, yet believable. His novels Monster and Wounded are currently used in schools on the Lower East Side of Manhattan. Ben has a BA degree in business management and an MA degree in educational leadership. As usual Ben has delivered a magnificent tale of the drama that plagues our every day lives. Finding a man willing to raise a child when the mother clearly wants nothing to do with it is a rarity in today's world. Although Nick had quite a few missteps, he finally found his footing and turned his relationship around with Lynn. She was at a loss when it came to relationships because her mom wasn't around but the support system she had in her life got her through. Ben did an excellent job giving all his characters an unique voice to tell their part of the story. I love everything written by this author and he never disappoints me. Wishing all the best to him and anxiously awaiting what's next.

OMG! Another great book by Ben Burgess Jr. this book took me through a range of emotions. I couldn't put it down. I also like the fact that there was characters from his other books in this one. I recommend this book. Also I'd love a sequel to see how life works out for all of these characters.

Wow. Ben you've done it again. I give this book five stars all the way around. The story held my attention from the first chapter. The characters were realistic,and really touched on topics that many try to avoid. My favorite character was Reha. I was hoping that the story would bring her some happiness.
If I were to pick an audience for this book it would definitely be for young ladies living with they're father's alone. Reading about the experience could bring some insight towards they're situation. FOOLS character was real. I know a lot of them. And Hazel was a darn mess.
