We purchased these plates to use when we wanted something sturdy but didn't want to use our regular ceramic or other fragile dinner plates. These plates are great for outdoor dining or with clumsy kids and are even dishwasher safe! They might stain as we purchased a light color but overall came very clean & got a few uses out of each plate. They are much nicer and more sturdy than using paper plates but we don't have to worry if they get dropped. They are perfect for our outdoor entertaining!
