UPDATE: Good shoe fails after 25-35 rides
Fit true to size, perfect width. Breathes and dries well. Weakness is toe cinch loop that Velcro strap folds back on tore away from shoe, making it unusable and inseparable. Got ~25-35 rides out of them. Would not recommend to a friend.Am going to try to return them, so we'll see how that goes.UPDATE: Only took an email to Tommaso Cycling to get a NEW PAIR put in the mail to me yesterday (when I left the first part of this review). Apparently, their cycling shoes have a LIFETIME WARRANTY, which, to my knowledge, is completely unheard of in the cycling industry. Good on ya, Tommaso!

Wear them interchangeably with a couple other pairs of cycling shoes. I would say the uppers and slightly on the lightweight size, lightweight in stiffness of upper as opposed to actual weight. But, they certainly arent flimsy, the system of velcro for a couple straps and the ratcheting strap work great, very secure, and adjustable. Sole is very stiff as it should be. Very happy with the value and how they feel riding.

These are les than half the price of a Shimano or Specialized shoe but perform similarly. The ratchet feels like good plastic but is complicated which usually means shorter usable life in my experience, we will see. The size is good. They're comfortable and fairly stiff. I can't get them as tight as I'd like because of the velcro straps. The Velcro is stiff making it difficult to tighten on a low volume foot. I will modify them and make them work for my foot. Also I'm on the last click of the ratchet.
To be clear for the price these are great. If you want the performance of a $300 shoe, buy a $300 shoe. I ride 3-6 hours a week and will make these work for me. Sav dat money

I was sorry to have to return this shoe. It looks very well-made and I liked the ratchet binding on it. Unfortunately, I wear a US 14 and the sizing chart said to order EU 48. My old shoes are too snug and their tag says they are EU 48, US 13. Anyway, I decided to trust Tommaso's sizing chart. They fit just like my old 48s--too snug. Obviously, as in other brands, a US 14 should be an EU 49. If you get a good fit, I'm sure these would be great.

So far these shoes are working out great and seem to be of good quality. They fit my relatively wide, size 44 feet well and are as comfortable as one can expect of bike shoes. The ratcheting straps take a bit of getting used to, but now that I get it, I appreciate their precise adjustability and quick release. The ratchet straps do, however, feel that they could be a fragile component on these shoes after years of use (and there will be no salvaging the shoes if the ratchets/straps break). Only time will tell on that.

Im new to shoes with cleats and I tried 4 different shoes from shimano to giro before giving these shoes a shot .. Im so impressed with the comfort, the ease of putting them on and taking them off, adjusting the ratchet style buckle, theres plenty of room inside for your foot to swell when riding and you can walk in them without skating around on the cleat itself, these shoes meet all my criteria at an amazing price. Definitely would recommend

I’m a few rides in on these. I use for indoor cycling. First timer with cycling shoes. Clipping in took some getting used too for sure. These seem to be doing well overall. They cinch up tightly enough for my needs. The cleat area comes loose every so often. But maybe that just comes with the territory of the nature of these shoes overall.

I have big flat feet and am a big guy (6-3, about 280). I float between size 13 and 14 depending on the maker. I found that size 13 in these is perfect for me. And they allow for my wide/flat foot to be comfortable but secure enough for good push/pull/stand/sit in cycling.

Will update if needed down the line but so far it’s a solid product.

These shoes are very comfortable but run pretty big. The 41 fit more like a 42.5 but they are roomy. Unfortunately, they would not cinch down tight enough to hold my foot in place. For the price they have value, so I engaged my neighbor, who sews. I had to cut the top ratchet strap fabric part in half and resew it back on closer to the latch. It looks funky because the Tomasso name is cut off, but it now ratchets down nice and tight. If you have big, fat feet it may fit you fine as-is.
