But I just LOVE this thing! In my quest to get away from processed food as much as possible, I added bread to the list. The problem was I wanted fresh, homemade bread without all the work.
This thing is every bit as easy as it says. I dump in the ingredients, push a couple of buttons, walk away and it does the rest.
The manual isn't the best but it's easy enough to figure out. The included recipes aren't great but the internet has plenty to choose from.
It's described as making a 1.5 lb loaf or a 2 lb loaf but, in most cases, I'd stick to the 1.5. You're going to run into issues with a 2 lb. By "issues" I mean it's going to actually Mount Vesuvius your machine enough to open the lid when it overflows.
I love the styling and the color is beautiful. There are a ton of settings to choose from and seems to be very customizable.
The best part is I know exactly what's in every loaf I make.
C'mon, the price is reasonable enough to try it out, right? 😁
Edited to add: Does it make noise? Of course it does. Is it excessive? Not at all. It's certainly quieter and less annoying than my grumbling about having to make another loaf of bread by hand would be.
I love the compact size. Space is at a premium in this kitchen so I was kind of worried about that. Turned out to be no problem at all!
Update: 7 months later and still loving it. It's been so much fun trying new recipes and experimenting. I use it at least once a week and it's still working great. Absolutely no issues at all. 😊

Love this bread maker, worth it
I got this for my birthday, and my first bread (the one lumpy one in the pic) came out a little odd looking, but otherwise tasty. I have tried a few different things and now have the hang of it, it makes beautiful bread. I have tried some of the recipes from the manual as well as some I found online (Italian bread, banana bread, etc) and it's my new favorite kitchen appliance.There's a small learning curve if you haven't had a bread maker before, but I definitely prefer this to making bread on my own, since now we can have a fresh loaf whenever we want regardless of time constraints.

I just read through a whole lot of other peoples' reviews and I am surprised at any of the negative comments.
This is the first time I have ever made bread either by hand or using a machine, so I was prepared to experiment it.
In the days leading up to the Neretva arriving, I binged on Bread machine YouTubes.
I found the instructions simple and easy to understand with one exception, when can I take the dough out if I want to put it into a different pan or make rolls? I'm sure I will figure that out with a bit.of.practice.
I've made 2 loaves so far, one from the recipes provided and one from online, both turned out super tasty, I was delighted. The problem now is going to be keeping my bread consumption in check.
Tip: the first loaf I made was a 2lb loaf. I had all the ingredients for a 2lb loaf but ended up making a 1.5lb loaf. That happened because I set the loaf size before I set the program number and when I set the program # it reverted to the 1.5lb loaf setting and I didnt notice. EVen with using ingredients for a 2lb loaf and it only turning out a 1.5 lb loaf size, it was still really tasty, just very dense, which I didn't mind.
Some people say that it is noisy. I chose my dishwasher because it was virtually silent, so I'm not the type of.person who likes noisy appliances, but this does not seem noisy to.me at all. No it's not dead silent but.it.is only a gentle sound when it is kneading and not very loud at all.
Cleaning is easy. As soon as I tip the bread out, I put Dawn and hot water into the pan about half way up and let it sit for a while to soak off any baked on bits. This also seems to help with removing the little paddle cause 2/2 times it has been super easy.
The size is perfect for me, it fits into a corner on my counter so it's small footprint doesn't take up much space while it's cooking for 3 hours. It also fits neatly into a hall cabinet cause I am going tontry to only use.it once a week, so I don't eat too much bread.
All in all this little machine was well worth every cent!

I love making our own sandwich bread, and these little loafs are perfect. They are on the smaller side but since we live in Florida bread molds really quickly here, So small loafs are better. The bread maker mixes and kneads the dough perfectly and I have zero complaints about the function and result. It’s very easy to use, however so far I’ve only used it for plain white bread. Definitely worth the buy.
