Sturdy and Easy to Install

I had this installed in 10 minutes from when it showed up at the door. I lined up the holes and used a 1/8 drill to make holes where I made marks using a Sharpy. I used shorter screws because the ones that came with it would have gone out the back side of the board. I was surprised to see only 6 screws total came with it. I ended up using 5 on each side. Using two of the off-set holes in the middle. The middle hole wouldn’t be worth my time to try and get it in with the bar in the way.
Very sturdy and well made!

My 87 year old mother was beginning to have problems getting up and down the four stairs on an enclosed porch. I attached a stainless steel handle to grab onto last year, which worked, but now she needs something the entire length of the stairs. She also needs something to hold onto going down the stairs. I attached this to the wooden wall and used eight screws instead of the six screws that came with the product. It fit really tight to the wall and is stable. In my opinion, if you are using this to grab onto to keep from falling, I think it needs to be attached to wood or wood studs.

Habe kein Vertrauen zu Saugnapflösungen, da es regelmäßig im Bad gescheppert hat, wenn sich Saugnäpfe nach ein paar Tagen unvermittelt plötzlich lösen. NIcht auszudenken, wenn man sich wirklich mal festhalten muß um nicht auszurutschen.
Also mußte eine stabile Lösung her:
Kräftiges Edelstahlrohr in gebürsteter Optik, Schrauben werden mitgeliefert. Dübel sind nicht dabei, die sollte man natürlich selbst je nach baulichen Bedingungen selbst auswählen. Lt. beiliegender Anleitung sollte man in Leichtbauwänden Balken suchen und da reinbohren, aber dann ist man natürlich bei der Anbringung sehr eingeschränkt. Bei mir Fliesen auf doppelter Rigipswand, auf jeder Seite die Flansche mit je 4 Schwerlastdübeln befestigt, das hält bombenfest!
