Product Description
Yupik’s organic mung beans are dried legumes that can be used in many recipes or used for sprouting, added to salads, soups, made into dips, and much more. For best cooking results: 1. Rinse & drain 2. Soak in unsalted water overnight 3. Drain, add to pot with fresh cold unsalted water, slowly bring to a boil until the beans are tender, 2 to 3 hours approximately.

like the kind you buy in the store......at about 1/10 the cost. You do have to deal with the husks but they're soft and tasty so no big deal for us. The husks are full of fiber so why not? We eat them in salads and stir fries. Yum.
I'm still having trouble getting them to grow as thick as I would like for stir fries and the like (my issue, not the beans) but I haven't seen a single dud bean in my 5 or so attempts since using this brand. They've all spouted within a day of soaking and rinsing, and grow very well. Only one attempt ended up bitter, but that was again my issue for letting them get too much sunlight.
