I took a chance on this clearly Chinese made controller. The great thing is it works really well. I am using it with an ipad mini and after following the instructions it works well enough that my 4 year old can use it. You do need to follow the instructions based on the device you are using it with because it is not intuitive. Meaning just trying to connect and go…yeah no. That said once you set it up correctly it just works and that makes this a 5 star item for me :)

It worked fine at first, turned it off for about a couple of hours and decided to play the game again. Well when I turn it back on all 4 LEDS were lit and won’t turn off. Tried resetting, no luck. Sending back for a refund. I wish I could give it a negative star. Also made in China.

Since there is no competition in the market of designing a game controller for the iPad mini this device stands alone as the only option I have come across which offers ability to use a game controller accessory with an iPad mini to me. The iPad mini is the perfect mobile gaming device and using it with a controller. Makes perfect sense. It’s lightweight And compatible with many different kinds of games however, this controller is not good enough for the iPad. The controller is very uncomfortable to hold after a few minutes of active gaming. My hands begin to cramp after 30 minutes the placement of the buttons is such that you’ll never want to use the direction, pad or button pad, but only the joysticks as it’s very hard to reach the buttons The triggers are very mushy and all the responsive and functional leave something to be desired. Overall, it has a very inexpensive field and is not ergonomically designed. However, the concept is great, and dirt deserves to be more of these kinds of devices being made, and being made better with fruit assignments for this device, the iPad mini, because it is the perfect mobile gaming device And deserves the perfect game controller
