Still Loving The Characters... But Editing Is Getting Sloppy

The story build up of Brianna and Jesse is great... but rinse and repeat of all the others. It would be nice to see a change in the formula. But like Hallmark movies, I'll keep coming back to see how the formula is packaged. That said, the editing is cracking. Ennis, an eighty year old man who walks into the room ramrod straight without the use of a cane is suddenly leaning on a cane the rest of the time. Jenny and Andrea have tickets for the concert tonight but hope to get laid by Emerald Phoenix afterwards... tomorrow night? 4 stars out of Steel and Hardt loyalty and because the story and writing is still as expected... what drew me in and has kept me here.

Jesse Pike is a co-lead singer with Dragonlock, his band, and they’re going on tour soon. Brianna Steel has been in love with Jesse since she was fourteen. They are ten years apart in age, Jesse being older. She graduated early with a degree in agriculture and she will be working with her dad, Talon Steele. But, first she wants to go on tour with Dragonlock. Her brother Donny and Callie, who are engaged, are going for the first couple of weeks so Callie can support her sister, Rory Pike, who is the other co-lead singer. Jesse is the melody in Brianna’s mind. This story is a slow burn, but steamy too. I loved taking this journey on with these characters. Oh yes, something big happens at the end, and yes, you will be left hanging until the next book. I can’t wait until that comes out.

love this series however, to continually keep extending where two new characters are introduced and then takes min of two books to read about the couple has gotten ridiculous. most of the next gen books could have been put into one or two books instead of being extended with not real new information. not only this but at the cost if said books it cost a small fortune to reach the end with zero clear answers or actual meaningful content. I am almost embarrassed as to what I have spend thus far how much I have spend. this series started out amazingly strong and unfortunately has become disappointing to say the least. due to how this series has been juiced and so long (example the Next two books in the series aren't due our until marcu and June/July of 2024. this the reason have refused to read any other of this authors book series.
