Ich habe von meinen Bose Companion 20 zu den Creativ GigaWorks T40 gewechselt. Ganz freiwillig aber leider hatten die Bose Companion 20 wahrscheinlich einen Wackelkontakt und es wurde immer ein unangenehmes Dröhnen wiedergegeben. Das hat mich so sehr gestört, dass sie leider weg mussten. Ich nutze die Boxen ausschließlich am PC für Games, Filme und Musik.
Die Verarbeitung macht einen guten Eindruck und der Aufbau ist kinderleicht. Der Sound ist meiner Meinung nach schon mit den Bose Companion 20 vergleichbar aber nicht so voll. Die Bose Companion 20 sind eher basslastig wobei die T40 etwas ausgewogener klingen. Bei Egoshootern klingen die Waffen besser, denn in der Realität ist der Knall halt nicht so basslastig. Es ist genügend Bass vorhanden und mit dem Regler kann man individuell noch etwas nachsteuern. Wobei ich sagen muss, dass der Sound dann insgesamt eher dumpf wird was mir nicht zusagt. Was gut ist, dass bei den Reglern die Mitte mit einer Art Kerbe verstehen ist. Man kann so immer wieder genau die Mitte einstellen. Wenn man allerdings die Boxen bis zum Anschlag auf dreht, ertönt ein Brummen. Das ist nicht schön aber so laut brauche ich am PC den Sound nicht. Generell kann ich sagen, dass die Boxen eine sehr ordentliche Lautstärke haben, viel mehr als der PC Gamer braucht. Wenn die Lautstärke mittig bzw. 3/4 eingestellt ist, ist kein Brummen oder Rauschen zu hören. Die Lautsprecher haben einen automatischen Timeout. Das bedeutet, dass wenn sie 10 Minuten kein Signal erhalten, in den Standby Modus gehen. Wenn dann wieder ein Signal kommt, z.B. wenn der Film fortgesetzt wird, dauert es bis zu 3 Sekunden, bis der Ton wieder kommt. Mich persönlich betrifft das kaum bzw. habe es in meinem PC Alltag bisher noch gar nicht wahrgenommen. Man muss die Boxen gar nicht mehr ausschalten (dafür müsste man den Lautstärkeregler nutzen, daher müssten sie immer wieder eingestellt werden) und beim Hochfahren des PCs gehen sie automatisch wieder an. Das finde ich sehr gut, auch wenn sie im Standby vll. 1-2 Watt verbrauchen.

Update 09.04.22:
Das Rauschen bei höherer Einstellung war kabelbedingt. Seit dem ich das neue (amazon basic) 3,5 mm Klinkenkabel nutze, ich das Rauschen de facto weg. Die Boxen skalieren meiner Meinung nach auch extrem wenn die Lautstärke höher als die Mitte eingestellt wird. Wenn die Boxen auf Maximum aufgedreht sind, (dann sind die Boxen so extrem laut, dass sie für die Nutzung am PC ungeeignet sind, außer man ist so gut wie taub), dann ist ein leichtes Rauschen wahrnehmbar. Ob das normal ist, kann ich als "normaler Konsument" nicht beurteilen. Es stört mich jedoch nicht, da diese Lautstärke wirklich extrem ist. insgesamt bin ich sehr zufrieden. Das öfters beschriebene "komisch" Soundbild fällt mir nicht auf (ich bin jedoch kein audiophiler Enthusiast, sondern ein normaler Konsument der kein Rauschen mag, wenn gerade kein Ton über die Boxen läuft). Meiner Meinung nach bekommt man für 100€ sehr gute 2.0 Lautsprecher womit geschätzt 90-99% der Käufer zufrieden sein werden.

Update 16.06.2022:
Ich nutze nun die Boxen schon eine ganze Weile und bin wirklich sehr zufrieden! Also dieser angeprangerte Standby ist bei mir im Alltag absolut genial. Klar, es kann manchmal vorkommen, dass man nach längere Pause die ersten 2 Sekunden in einem Video nicht hört aber das ist so selten und ganz ehrlich, es stört mich halt gar nicht. Man macht den PC an, Boxen gehen an - perfekt. Ich bin ein großer Fan der Standby Funktion!
Ansonsten klasse Sound, keine Macken oder so, alles bestens!
