We bought this chair to use in our living room, not to meditate, and so far it's very comfortable (not for long periods), and beautiful. The packaging was terrible, as it arrived smashed with the chair exposed, but otherwise, we are very happy with the purchase. I have read reviews of similar chairs that wear out quickly over time, so if this happens to ours, I will update this review. However, I'm hopeful that, given the high price point of this one, it will last much longer than others!
