One thing to note is that if you have narrow feet like mine, you might need to find a suitable no-show sock or invest in a sockless shoe liner. I wanted a black loafer that looked a bit dressy and that would fit my narrow foot. I first ordered this in my normal size 9. It ran too long. I returned and reordered in 8 1/2 and kept that pair. I think the shoe is very good looking. The leather is stiff and the shoe runs narrow (an advantage for me.) If I find a more comfortable shoe, I will replace this one, but in the meantime, this will work for my purposes.
