Smaller than expected
Even though this knife is much smaller than anticipated, it's 100% a cheat code. For $20 you're getting amazing quality. The stainless steel handles give it not so much grip, but amazing weight when using. Straight out of the box the blade is RAZOR sharp. It is a lesser blade steel, but with regular stropping it shouldn't be an issue. Especially for $20. Highly recommend you buy a few to have laying around for any given task you may need it for.

I ordered 6 different knives and this is the only one I carry. I can't believe how much knife you get for the money. It was decently sharp out of the box, and a trip to the stones had it wizzing through paper easily. 8Cr13MoV is a respectable steel, roughly the same as 440c, so its gonna hold an edge decently, which it does. The action is smooth, and the frame lock is tight. I able to easily open and close this knife. I think the washers are nylon, but honestly for the price I don't overly mind. After using and carrying for several weeks the blade is still centered in the frame decently and the pivot screw hasn't come loose. Far more than I can say for the Kershaws I returned. With a smooth frame with only very light texturing I'm not sure this would be a great wet-handed knife, but the lack of aggressive texturing means it also doesn't chew on my pocket when it clip it.

The design of course is similar to another, enormously more expensive knife. Thus it sits well in the hand, and is easy to open and close one handed. The detent also tight enough that its not a "flip knife" and the blade is less than 3", so outside of overzealous NYC where they intentionally loosen the screws on your knife so it can be called a "Gravity knife" for easy felonies, you should stay on the good side of the law.

I would put this knife as a great EDC knife. Its small enough to live with day in and out, its quality enough where it matters, and its cheap enough to easily replace if it happens to be lost, or confiscated.

~~~~~Update:
After one year, this knife is still going strong. Use it daily and it has not loosened up in any way. Edge retention is right where it should be with this type of steel. I have finally "mastered" sharpening this knife with a ceramic rod and a leather strop infused with green polishing compound.
I have purchased 5 so far as gifts and will be buying a few more for reserve and probably gift some more.
The look is very "cool" but beyond that, the knife is very good. Materials are top rate and the finish is outstanding.
Handle: though it is made of smooth stainless steel, when gripped in the hand, the design is such that you do grip it, it does not feel as if it is going to slip out of my hand.
Blade: the jimping at the heel of the blade provides good traction. It came very sharp: sliced through paper with no tearing or catching. I have not had to sharpen it yet. If the steel is 8Cr13Mov, then getting an edge back when needed should not be a problem. It is quality steel that has good stain resistance and is relatively easy to sharpen and keeping it.
Thumb Studs: I can actually open this using them. I have medium sized hands and this is one of the few knives that I can do this without my thumb ending up being touched by the blade.
Clip: not a big user of clips but the one supplied is just right as far as flexibility goes. I can attach it to my pocket with one hand and a few fingers! Clip can only be worn as it comes with the knife. The tip up or down is not a factor for me.
LASTLY MY RANT: Many critical reviews are from knife aficionados. They require the best steel, the designers name to be known. They each have their "guy" whom they admire to the point of worship.
Made in China is a phrase which is evil. Yet they own TVs, cell phones, other electronics that are made in China. Everything is made in China. Why are we singling out knives as POS? because they are made in China? Bad steel is a thing of the past. 90% of buyers have no need for "super steels" and are often no more than a bragging point.
For the rest of us, we want a quality blade where I am not paying for the name of the knife designer.
I have heard of these knives for some time. Most everyone who had experience with it found it to be exceptional for the price and a very good knife overall. So I finally bought one and I agree, it's probably the best bargain knife available even though it now costs $13 (Amazon prices vary, so this may not be true when you read this).
It's a "tribute" knife, copying the Chris Reeves Sebenza. The Sebenza has a reputation among the knife knowledgeable as something of the Holy Grail of blades. It's extremely expensive and very well made of premium materials. I finally bought a Small Sebenza and I can attest it is a fine little pocket knife, but the world is full of fine little knives. If function is the main criteria for buying a knife, the Sanrenmu will be sufficient. If pride in ownership and appreciation of material and workmanship and impressively close manufacturing tolerances is important, the Sebenza is the winner.
The only thing I don't like about this knife is that the pocket clip is not changeable. You can only carry it tip down and my preference is tip up. It's not a deal breaker since it's small enough to carry in your pocket without using the clip.
My knife has a good finish, smooth operation and as perfect fit as you could ask for. The frame lock snaps into place solidly. The blade is standard Chinese upper quality steel: 8Cr13MoV. Many knife lovers disparage this steel because it's not one of the super steels that sends them into effusive rapture. Personally, I figure if it works, it works. This steel works well. It's pretty easy to get a good edge and the edge holds okay--nothing spectacular but good enough for most of the tasks most of us will use it for. The SanRenMu came fairly sharp and a little time on the Sharpmaker with the fine and ultra fine stones got it in the razor category. The 8Cr steel is good to go.
Overall, a great little knife. It's not a real Sebenza but it's a perfectly good little pocket knife and I like it.
