How did you come up with the idea for this product?

que Bottle started from a passion for both music and travel. Co-founders Jean and Kevin traveled all over the world to experience the next hot music festival, but soon realized how much plastic waste accumulated at the venues and grounds after the shows. People were buying so many plastic bottled waters despite expensive prices and environmental harm out of convenience and a lack of suitable travel bottle alternatives. Current bottles were either too bulky to travel with or too ugly and cheaply-made, in the case of foldable plastic flasks. So they decided to solve this problem by making a bottle that would be both functional and good-looking.

What makes your product special?

que Bottles are the only collapsible water bottles that are functional and fashionable. Their unique spiral design compresses the bottles into half-size without compromising good looks.

What has been the best part of your experience?

Creating something from scratch merely out of our passion for music and travel, that also feeds to the market needs and more importantly, solves a real problem in a very unconventional way.

This works just as you see in the pictures. I love using it in my tiny backpack when I go to theme parks or conventions and I can quickly refill at a water fountain, and then snug it back in my pack when I've finished until I find the next station.

Only reason I do not give it 5 stars is because it has a strong taste of silicone. For traveling, it is perfect and serves the purpose of being durable, but it is not for a 24/7 refreshing water bottle to keep at your desk. But it works great in a traveling pinch and saves you buying a $4 wasteful water bottle.

Purchased this because I wanted a smaller water bottle to fit in the backpack. It does exactly what I wanted. It gets small enough that it fits in my pocket. I do wish it was less flimsy though. I think they could have made the spiral bands a little more sturdy. The bottle of the water bottle falls downward when you raise it up to your lips to drink. Also smaller when it full size than I thought it would be. Over all it was what I wanted and works fine but I don’t think it was worth the $20ish price tag at all. I recommend getting a cheaper copycat, it will work just the same.

Nothing was wrong on Amazon’s end, I just didn’t like the the product, unfortunately. :( I was so excited to have a light weight, full size water bottle that folded small for throwing in my purse. However, it got dirt stuck to it immediately, it’s too-heavy, holding it is t very firm, it leaks, and worst of all it makes the water taste horrendous. I’m not sure why as I have other silicone drinking products that don’t do this.

I saw this as an ad from another site but as I have Amazon prime I got without having to pay shipping. It's a great bottle. I like that I can squash it down when the water gets lower and save space.

I did as another reviewer suggested and put lemon juice inside. Be careful however as the acid from the juice even with water I it will affect the metal top, so don't fill it all the way up.
