This chair is very sturdy. I haven’t needed to slowly get on or off of it as I read in some other reviews - it has not tipped on me. The arm holes are plenty wide for the average sized person; I have room to move my arms around in it. I will say I have a narrow frame and my shoulders almost reach the edge so a wider chested person may not find this chair the most comfortable. I did see others comment about weight… I weigh 145lbs and have had absolutely no issue. I love this chair! I’ve used it several times throughout this summer without issue.

This chair is nice and sturdy. It's nice and wide and very comfy. I also like that I can lay on my stomach and still read my kindle on the beach. However, DO NOT TRY TO ADJUST THE BACK WHILE YOU ARE SITTING IN IT! I tried this like a dummy and it smashed my thumb and my thumb was stuck there until someone helped me a few moments later. It was awful. I also wish it had more of the clip things to hold it in place while it's folded and in transit. It's not very convenient that way. All in all I think it's a great lounge chair.
