My garage is my art studio. I back out the car, set up my easel and get to work using the daylight with the door open. As the temps dip into the 40s and 50s (Fahrenheit), this heater sits on the floor nearby and keeps me warm at a VERY reasonable operating cost. I've found propane canisters on sale for under $4.00 each. Our 1200 watt electric heater cost a LOT more to operate, based on previous experience. I close the door in the evening, as I break down my setup and clean up - Our (approx.) 600 square foot garage actually got warm inside! The easy operation and safety features are sensibly designed, and it seems to be well-made and reliable. I recommend this product for heating a small open (or enclosed) space.

I live in a van traveling through all kinds of weather and have tried several other heater options but this is the best that I’ve tried. ventilation (half inch window opening recommended) and buying a carbon monoxide alarm are VIP safety precautions. The 16 oz cans of fuel only last about 5 hours not 6 and I don’t leave it on after I go to bed, but this keeps me toasty warm even below freezing. It can get too hot after about 3-4 hours. Small enough to store easily and the propane cans are readily available just about anywhere. Perfect for vanlife!
