Aleatha Romig is a New York Times, Wall Street Journal, and USA Today bestselling author who lives in Indiana, USA. She grew up in Mishawaka, graduated from Indiana University, and is currently living south of Indianapolis as well as part of the year in Bradenton, Florida, USA. Before she became a full-time author, she worked days as a dental hygienist and spent her nights writing. I have been a HUGE fan of ALEATHA ROMIG's for a while now so it's no surprise that I absolutely loved this book but what did surprise me was the ending, no not that it was a cliffhanger because I call her the QUEEN OF CLIFFHANGERS but just what happened at the end!There is so much going on in this book, lies, secrecy, deception, and so many twists and turns that lead us up to the bombshell that was dropped at the ending. I have to say that I loved Lucille the American born woman who is now the Princess of Molave, her husband Roman leaves a lot to be desired, but Sir Oliver fits his role perfectly and I love the chemistry and slow burn between him and the princess.I know cheating is a big thing for many readers and yes there is cheating in this book, BUT and this is a big BUT I do not see this as cheating because the marriage between the princess and the prince was not only abusive there are other things in play that make this a non sequitur. That may not make sense now but it will once you read the story.I would recommend this book to fans of Aleatha Romig, those that enjoy Romantic Suspense, or those that enjoy Royalty Romances.Happy Reading!!!
