About this item
- This universal helmet chin mount is designed with hinged wings to conform to various helmet curvatures to maximize it's universability.
- The chin mount is anchored down with super strong 3M VHB adhesive tape. The horizontal mounting method dramatically increases tensile strength giving your action camera the utmost security.
- Unlike other options, placement of this chin mount does not cause any vision or visor closing interference. This ensures that no additional wind or wind noise is being sent into your helmet, giving you a smooth riding experience.
- Buckle clip mounting point offers totally customization! With the mounting point on this chin mount being a buckle clip, you're in control of what relevant buckle clip mount you want to attach. Whether it's a J hook, a ball joint, or an L extension. The buckle clip mounting point is universally used amongst action cameras so there's no shortage of options.
- Great fit for HJC, Shoei, Ruroc, ICON, Bell, Scorpion, Schuberth, and many more helmet brands!
- Got a helmet that doesn't have a traditional curvature on the chin? Try our FLEX Slim Universal Chin Mount by MotoRadds. The only flexible, formable, chin mount ever made. Made with the same attention to detail and quality as this mount.

The side wings are utilized approximately 85% and just the tips extend over the side vents on this particular model helmet. If you clean the helmets surface first with alcohol or simple green to get all oils off the surface it will stay in place just fine. I've used this particular camera mount with this particular helmet for 2+ years and have had 0 problems.
I did have to buy a second mount recently which prompted this review due to having a large rock that got kicked up smacking the mount and shattering where the centerpiece joins to the wing. I feel that this speaks not only to the items durability but you should feel very secure with your camera sitting out front as mine never budged on that ride and held firm. Just make sure you're using quality 3M VHB Tape, clean the surface first, and you'll be good to go. Cheers.
I think this could benefit from a vertical “wing” or 3m tape to further hold the weight of the camera/ arms. It seems unstable in some sense, even though I have gone upto 80mph shortly after applying it. I think my issue is how the vertical of the 3m and construct is probably like 1cm which imo isn’t awe inspiring. A 3rd vertical leg/ wing would totally assist with potential pivoting and also stability and probably should be considered by the manufacturer considering this is relatively overpriced at near $40

Installation
Was a breeze. All you do is snap the arms onto the mount, pull off the adhesive tape, and then stick it on to the chin of the helmet. It does include 2 alcohol wipes to clean the helmet area, and some simple instructions.
Appearance
I think, as far as helmet mounts go, that this is one of the best looking mounts. It is asymmetrical, and isn't just hanging from one cheek of the helmet. It also has a very minimal look to it.
Longevity
I just put this mount on, waiting on my new GoPro to charge so I can take it out. So I cannot really attest to this yet...
Pros
Looks very nice
Asymmetrical
Easy install
Cons
The range is somewhat limited on how far the GoPro can tip up and down
The 3M pads are a little small, I might put a dab of superglue on the bottom of it just for insurance

Lesson learned here, either purchase a safety leash for your GoPro or freaking super glue this mount to your helmet.
Thanks now I have to purchase another GoPro.
DO NOT BUY THIS PRODUCT unless you want to lose your GoPro as I did. EXTREMELY DISAPPOINTED CUSTOMER HERE
