Large, Adorable Microfiber Towel from DII that Will Dry Your Pets; However, It Has Special Cleaning Instructions!
I own a multitude of microfiber cleaning towels from DII. Primarily, I use them for dusting furniture and washing and drying dishes at the kitchen sink. Their odd material (composed of 80% polyester and 20% polyamide) took a while for me to overcome. I find microfiber scratchy rather than soft like 100% cotton. Nevertheless, my parents love the Bone Dry Ultra Absorbent Microfiber Pet Drying Towel from DII. My parents use it primarily for wiping their cat Angel's paws before she enters their home. (My parents, especially Mom, are neat freaks.) Angel is an adorably sweet Flame-Point Siamese; my parents adopted her when she was a stray kitten begging for food at the sliding glass doors leading onto their deck. Most importantly, Angel doesn't seem to be annoyed or irritated when my dad dries her with the microfiber towel. (Its coarse material would bother me.) The towel is simply an overlarge version of a dish towel with an embroidered generic paw print that represents the paw of most any four-footed mammal. This towel is cute; however, there are less expensive versions out there, but they won't have the paw print. Furthermore, this towel must be washed in cold water and dried on low heat. (I've reached the point where I wash everything in cold water and dry it on low heat in order to prevent damage.) Nevertheless, this towel would make a nice Christmas gift for the animal lover in your life. They will appreciate that you thought of them and their beloved pet.
