4.7 4.7 out of 5 stars 45 ratings

Jesus had a financial partnership team. Paul had a financial partnership team. God has a financial partnership team for every missionary, including you! Should the difficulties of raising financial support keep God's workers out of the harvest fields? It has, and the result is that the mission field is underfunded and understaffed, but a solution exists. Rob Parker successfully shows that the Great Commission is not for the struggling, lonely missionary; it belongs to the Body of Christ working together.

Discover God's strategy, spanning the Old and New Testaments, of funding His work through the saints. Experience a paradigm shift from fundraising to partnership. Be equipped with practical tools and a plan for moving forward. Learn how to invite God's people to joyfully join you in the Great Commission. And follow His call into missions with the full funding and relational support you need.

This is an incredible book to read. Very mind opening about the lies we believe about the great commission.

Recently I had the opportunity to read through this book cover to cover in two settings over four days. I couldn't put it down. The book is laid out in a very helpful way by putting a large emphasis on what the Bible says and then concludes with a large section of how to actually do what I have learned. The book encouraged me that missions is the family business, that there are hundreds of thousands currently doing it and the Bible gave me confidence to go out and build a team.

No book or teaching on missions giving, sending and raising financial partnership have impacted more than Rob Parker's book. The testimonies, stories and powerful one liners make up a formidable book that will last throughout the generations. I would recommend this book to any who that feels God is calling them into full-time ministry, wants to advance the Great Commission or is currently involved in full-time ministry already. You won't regret reading it!

I was a missionary for years and struggled with raising the support I needed to live off of. I thought I could just trust God and He would provide. I think a lot of missionaries think this. After reading Rob's book I see that God actually laid out a plan for us to follow that isn't about surviving off of other people's charity.

Rob lays out a strong biblical foundation for the way we are supposed to support raise and gives you a practical process to follow. It's something I wish I could have known about years ago.

It's an easy read and will stir up hope inside of you if you've ever struggled with the support raising process. You'll see yourself coming up with ideas and plans on how you can execute this process Rob shows in the book. Seriously, if you're a missionary, GET THIS BOOK! You won't be disappointed.

I've read a lot on the topic of fundraising and from my experience Rob offers the most thorough biblical and practical case for equipping missionaries for launching fundraising campaigns I have seen. This book is a prerequisite for each missionary to read before I begin coaching them on a potential fundraising campaign. In addition, Rob has great resources online that help with what is in the book... PartnershipDevelopment.org for videos and further education.

This book is the shorter version of his overall course which includes a larger manual and videos or live training. The book here is a great primer for people interested in exploring what it takes to successfully raise a financial partner team in ministry, and 'count the cost' of engaging in the work of ministry.

If you have considered whether support raising is biblically supported and if so, how to proceed with godliness... you will want to check out this book. It is a very well written, easy to read, well-supported biblical handbook for fundraising.

Great book. As a missionary myself, I would highly recommend to any and all missionaries!

This book has the best Biblical grouding and basis for raising a financial partnership team I have ever seen! My heart was encouraged as I read it that God has a team for me and that He wants the Body of Christ to work together to fulfill the Great Commission.

I love that this book is not:
- a bunch of bible verses pulled just to make the author's point
- a bunch sales tactics with a Christian spin on it

I love that this book:
- has an amazing scriptural grounding for partnership development
- lays out a clear modern application for raising a partner team
- grants courage, hope, and strategy for a missionary to be fully funded

Bottom line: buy it, read it and do it and your life in missions will never be the same!!
