But Dad keeps testing me, and this time he’s taken it a bit too far. Sending me well off the beaten path to Apple Cart, Alabama. To meet with a couple of men at a hunting lodge and discuss expanding their outdoors store into the southeast.

As if staying in the backwoods with no phone service weren’t enough to push me over the edge, there’s Jack, the owner of the lodge . . .

Let’s just say I didn’t know hillbillies could be smoking hot.

Now, I’m stuck trying to impress two middle-aged, gun-crazed store owners who I desperately want as business partners for our company. Plus, stay calm around one blue-eyed, camouflage-clad lodge owner who I desperately want to kiss.

How will I ever manage to strike a deal with these men I relate to in no way possible? And, even worse, keep my emotions in check around Jack, who I relate to on a much deeper level?

Lots of funny cliches and sayings inserted into a sweet story of opposites attract. The two main characters couldn’t have been more different, yet they found common ground.After conquering seemingly insurmountable obstacles they finally find their way.If you like a clean romance with lots of southern sass this book is for you.

Hunting for Love by Kaci Lane is a sweet, clean, entertaining book.

From the moment Bianca and Jack meet, they are the perfect example of opposites attract. I even wondered if Jack was a bit of a barbarian 😂.

Bianca loves her job and takes pride in being able to snag big companies. But, when her dad challenges her to step outside her comfort zone and work with a company in Apple Cart, Alabama, Bianca has no idea how to relate to the outdoorsy men. Good thing Jack is there to mend the gap.

Jack is trying to keep his family's land. He loves his job but has bitten off more than he can chew. To make matters worse, this city girl has him on the edge, and not just with her buttoned-up personality, but with the chemistry that is brewing.

While this story has humor, don't discount it as just a fluffy read. Bianca's family has some drama that adds depth to the story and helps the reader to understand Bianca better. Jack is true to himself, and Bianca experiences quite a bit of character growth. It does not change who she is. It's more like she discovers her true self.

I adored Jack! From the get go he was just this grounded all around good guy. Bianca needed a little bit of that. I loved how very opposite these two were. I also really liked how relatable the two of them are to real life people. The chemistry, the differences in how they grew up, all of it melded into one amazing book! Don’t pass this one by. The whole series is great and you can read them as standalone books as well.

Hunting For Love, a sweet southern romantic comedy is exactly that…sweet, southern and romantic. It is set in the same small town of my youth. We had one Piggly Wiggly, a few very small family operated restaurants (best food ever), and unlimited deer hunting (some even at night). The men were men and the women were hot!

Sparring between the potential love birds as they bump against each other, mentally, physically and emotionally, often made me laugh out loud..a rare quality amongst contemporary books. Reactions and responses amidst a variety of circumstances, of a city girl against those of a country boy provide for both humor and introspection. Would I eat a fresh deer popper? …probably quicker that I would a mountain oyster…but there might be some hesitation. Eggs scrambled in bacon grease…I’m in!

This book will introduce you to some new things you probably didn’t know existed..a quick dive into the sub-cultures of hot city girl and small town, deer-hunting-loving good guy. Enjoy the dive!
