This novel was so much more than I thought it was going to be.FMC Juliette is adorable, but with a terrible track record with men, she is our ray of sunshine.MMC is Henley he is our gruff, stubborn, demanding, domineering, control freak, he is our grumpy.Their first date is EPIC in every aspect (wink, wink). Fast forward a couple of years when they meet again by chance.A string of events take place, he pushes her button and she pushes back, the tension between these two is at an all time high. Their journey is hampered by life, other people and circumstances.Fabulous introduction to a new series, cannot wait to find out who plays the leading role in Book 2.Definitely recommend.

I have no idea what T puts in her books, but they are so addicting!!!!! 💙💙💙

My temptation is about Juliet and Henley. Juliet and Henley are introduced at a hospital event. They have instant chemistry, go on a date, and have an amazing night together. The next day, Henley promises to call Juliet but never does. She runs into him one day, and she gets him back in a rather strange way with the help of her brother.

3 years later, Juliet buys her dream house and guess who her new neighbour is???? Henley!!!!! Even after all the time has passed, Juliet can't stop thinking about Henley and their undeniable chemistry, but Henley is a real a****** to her from the beginning, will he be able to win her over or will his own issues get in the way???

I loved this book, Juliet was such a beautiful character, I really liked her personality, but i think she deserved a bit more grovelling from Henley. He didn't really grovel, he just kept getting scared, getting possessive and running to her to prevent her from falling for anyone else, and Juliet, the kind soul she was, let him straight back in.

I really loved Juliet's friendships with Claire and Rebecca. They are what each other needs, and you can see that with what happened to Rebecca.

Henley, I did really like him, I think that he should have gone to see someone alot sooner than what he did because he really did hurt Juliet and himself by not dealing with his trauma. I hope we do see more from him in future books in this series because I think his character growth will be amazing.

Juliet and Henley together was electric!!! The spicy scenes were really spicy and their banter was amazing. They just clicked so well together.

I think this was an amazing introduction into the Kingston Lane series and I can't wait to read the next book in this series!!!

I wonder who the next couple will be???

Another great book by T L Swan. Made me laugh, get angry, swoon and love! Henley and Juliet are easy to fall in love with. Henley's quite a complex character and Juliet is sweet and sexy. Great lines like Vanessa the undresser and Barry the mutt. I loved every part of this book and can't wait to read about the rest of Kingston Lane's residents.

Ok, firstly new TL Swan! Yay! There is something about her writing that I do love and this book did have parts that I did love, a lot. Some parts of it were very funny, and I love how her Aussie colloquial humour comes through in her writing.

And yeah, there is a BUT coming. these characters honestly gave me whiplash; they were so frustrating and I just wanted to bang their heads together. Yeah, Henley was emotionally unavailable and had trauma but he was (at times) really mean to Juliet and said some awful things to her. And she just seemed so accepting? Like I get he tried to be better for her, but he needed to grovel a little more, I think. ALSO, Jenny can take a running jump - this seemed a tad random to end the book on? A little unnecessary I think.

I’ll still give this a reluctant three stars because it was humorous, the spice was excellent and the banter between Juliet and Henley was good and the side characters were also great. I will read the rest of the series, and hope they don’t cause me as much whiplash as these two.

my favorite queen Tee is back at it again but with a new series! my temptation is the first book in the Kingston Lane series and let me tell you what. WOW. this one was so good. reading a new book by Tee is like coming home from a long vacation. I find SO much comfort in reading a new book by her.

I absolutely love the fact they went from a one night stand to ending up being neighbors. I ate this book up. there is so much that I love about Tee's writing style, and I always know that I am going to get a book that is make me laugh out loud, has amazing banter, and all the swoony feels. there was so much tension and banter with this one and it made the story flow great.

Henley James is so grumpy and possessive and I AM HERE FOR IT. there is something special about a grumpy man written by Tee. he is also a beautifully broken hero. he is closed off to love and comes off as broken in that way. but there is something so perfect about him also. something that draws you to him and you just crave more of him. Juliet gives off a little bit of chaotic energy vibes and I AM HERE FOR IT. she knows what she wants and is not afraid to tell it like it is. she is also hilarious and was making me cackle the whole book. and don't even get me started on the nicknames she has for people. there was so much growth for both MCs and I loved the mental health rep. always hits home and also for me makes the book more relatable. the push and pull between Henley and Juliet will draw you in, and make you also root for them even though they fought it the whole time. there chemistry was amazing and nothing less than perfection. I am so excited to be in a new world that Tee has created. so excited to be on this new journey!

We have oodles of steam, a heavy dose of angst, well drawn characters and a plot that's worth following. If you're new to her, lucky you...you get the job of beginning to discover her gift.
