About the Author

New York Times bestselling authors Ashley and JaQuavis hit the scene at the age of seventeen. Born and raised in the most notorious neighborhoods of Flint, Michigan, it was only natural for the pair to write about the street life they knew all too well. During their freshmen year in college they received national publishing deals and have since solidified themselves as two of the best in their genre.

Wow! This last book tied all the characters together. In the end all the human fatals flaws are shown and the consequences of indulging in those flaws. You almost felt of a sense of justice when one of the characters was eliminated becuase of the misery this character caused everyone around them.
Betrayal between a man and woman is always an interested subject. There are degrees of betrayals and it prove too much for the main character and in the end she made a choice that would ensure her happiness.
This is not only a story about drug trade it is a story how this illegal enterprise will destroy all who decide to become part of this.
In the end one can never win. All are expendable and all can be replaced.

I put off reading this book for close to two years, but after finishing Prada Plan 4 last week, I decided I needed closure on Liberty, Po and yes Dahlia. Let me apologize now, but it's hard to write this review without spoilers. A & J have penned some pretty conniving, evil and downright dispicable characters, but Dahlia is the worst of them all. She has not one redeeming quality and no soul. I looked forward to her demise starting from the first chapter. I got tired rather quickly of all the countless and senseless murders she committed in her ascent to power. And her automatic acceptance after killing Zulu was absolutely ridiculous. She killed one of the most powerfull leaders in the African Mob and five minutes later she's now the leader of his men and faced no repercussions. Give me a break. Where was the loyalty of the 'Five Familes' for Zulu and his wife? She kills Zulu and Ali Akban then gets the acceptance of the 'Five Families' to fill Zulu's seat as if there is no hierarchy in place. Where are the sons, brothers, nephews or cousins of the men already on the counsel. Sorry but it's all just too unrealistic. I was so happy then Dahlia finally got what was coming to her. My only regret is that Liberty was not there to witness it. I literally almost threw this book in the trash when afterr all that Dahlia had done to Po and she was finally revealed as a snake, Po actually still desired to be with her. He peroved to be a weak, easy manipulated man, which why she so easily brought him down. Loved, loved, loved the friendship turned relationship between Liberty and Rocko. Unlike a previous reviewer I don't feel their relationship was based on rejection, rebound or revenge, I think they came together in time of need and the relationship grew from there. So happy Liberty got her happy ending and this story has come to an end.

Ashely & JaQuavis has done it again!!!! Baron is back in the states and he's looking for answers to A'shai's death. After catching up with Liberty and learning the truth behind his sons death Baron is ready to leave, but Liberty ask of him one favor, plug Po and Rocko with his drug connect. Even after all the drama Po has put Liberty through she still feels like she owes him for saving her. Dahila's greed finally catches up with her and she ends up paying the ultimate price. When the dust finally settles Liberty finds hr happy ending with Rocko, who has always had feelings for her . Can't wait to read part 4!!!!

WOW!!!!! WHAT CAN I SAY. THIS ONE WILL GO DOWN ON MY APPROVED, APPROVED, APPROVED LIST. I WAS SO NERVOUS BECAUSE A LOT OF THE OTHER BOOKS, I CAN JUST ABOUT PREDICT WHAT WAS GOING TO HAPPEN AND IT TOOK AWAY FROM THE STORY. THIS BOOK I LOVE LIKE THE CARTEL SERIES. I FELT SO PROUD OF A&J AFTER READING THIS ONE. THEY TRULY STEPPED THEIR GAME UP. THE BOOK IS CALLED THE BLACK DAHLIA EVEN THOUGH SHE WAS NOT THE ONLY MAIN CHARACTER IN THE BOOK. DAHLIA WAS SO OUT OF ORDER IN THIS BOOK, THAT I SEE NOTHING WRONG AT ALL WITH THE TITLE. CONGRATS, A&J....TAG TEAM BACK AGAIN!!!!
