And a not so easy Return process I had to call after they had it back going on 2-weeks where's my refund..I will attempt to leave a somewhat thorough review.
I purchased this to slice those hard to cut sweet potatoes and had high hopes based on reviews. The machine itself is nice I liked the machine but not its features they need work. Pros- sturdy built quiet motor slices effortlessly lightweight potato chip bottom suction cups means a firm/snug fit to its surface/counter top potatoes didn't create a dire/endless cleaning problem *based on those components I would give it 5 stars
Cons- Not what I wanted nor what I expected; why would any electric applicance require you to use both hands to operate it. 'Both hands are pushing down at the same time.'
With one hand keep the power button pressed in and with the other hand push the vegetables into the slicer using the 'Food Pusher'.
-you do most of the work I had to cut the potato down small enough to fit inside the tiny [1 to 2 inch] slot on top of the machine. After doing the math I decided I might as well finish cutting it up and save the machine clean-up task; nothing left for the machine to do. I did all the work.
-sweet potatoes stained the gray blade/sections orange had to really rub/scrub with cleaner to get the stains off. I purchased this solely for slicing sweet potatoes
*My main fault with this machine is...Razor thin slicing!!!!!
-the supposedly THICK slicer slices too thin like ruffle potato chips. I could almost see through what was sliced with the thin slicer- Razor thin slicing! It comes with slicing blades meaning the thickness is already built-in. If there was a way to select thickness that would have been great maybe something to loosen or tighten to get the desired thickness.

I want an electric slicer but will continue using my manual slicer; wait for one with better features i.e. customer has some choices for how thick or thin it cuts.
This machine is nice but fragile. I had to return mine since the lid was cracked. I had one before and that one broke so be careful. It does slice nice but is not that user friendly.
It doesn't work as well as advisertised. I have to use both hands to operate it, which is very difficult and inconvience. Very disastified and disappointed.
It is a great tool, whoever, the front of the part that connect to the blades is of a tin plastic and brakes very easily. The other disadvantage is that their customer service is in Canada and very hard to get in touch with. There is no place on the website to purchase parts, only contacting customer service and leaving messages Bach and forth. Awful!
I used this once, there is not a switch to turn on or off, but instead a push down button to start process and it only connected once. Do not buy this it is not worth it. This was a Christmas gift and when I tried to return it to Amazon that's when I found out the seller was in Canada and it would be $61.30 to return it. It does not work and now I'm stuck with it. DON'T BUY IT!
I chop my onions in bulk and freeze them. I barely got through ten small onions and I had to empty the top twice where a lot of unchopped onion pieces were collecting. I didn’t bother to chop the rest. Then it took a very long time to clean all the parts. It was scary trying to remove the blade parts with all the jammed up onion pieces. Totally not worth the trouble, especially if you’re only going to chop a couple of onions. Very disappointed in this product and do not recommend it for onion chopping. I did not try slicing anything as my main purpose was for chopping so I cannot comment on that.
