I bought this for a friend with her family name for the imprint. She is an excellent baker but found that the imprint was only lightly visible on the cookie. The cookie was about 3" in diameter.

My bestfriend got me this for Christmas as I always make Christmas cookies or labors of love as gifts 🫶🏼 Review from ~7000 ft asl: I was a little hesitant to press down fully at the first couple but I had more dough so I tested a few different pressures; make sure your dough is prepped correctly (might not work with some store bought dough/some altitudes that aren’t homemade as you have to adjust recipes for consistency) have a light dusting of flour between your stamp and your dough and press down firmly! You want your cookie to stick just a tad!! GENTLY, and I mean lightly, peel at the edges the cookie and it will fall into your hand, revealing the perfect stamp 😍
My altitude friends; DO NOT OPEN YOUR OVENS UNTIL YOU’RE ALMOST READY TO TAKE THEM OUT !! You could potentially ruin the integrity of the stamp as it’s baking..

My knob broke after just pressing a few cookies however I was still able to use it. I’m still working on the best cookie recipe that doesn’t rise much so the writings aren’t altered when baked. I feel the etching on the stamp could be a little deeper to help get a good form on the cookie dough but overall I’m happy with it
