I ordered this controller August 2nd. Went on vacation for 3 weeks so the controller was not used during that time. Then on October 3rd, the controller developed severe stick drift even after increasing the dead zone from 1% to 10%. I ended up having to order replacement sticks for $50! Otherwise this controller has been amazing, extremely responsive buttons, nice feel, the analogs are top notch aside from one failing so soon.

UPDATE: Thrustmaster immediately sent a replacement stick. Very good support and response time. I took the old analog and tore it down and took an alcohol swap to the encoder disk on both potentiometers which fixed the issue in 5 min. Seems there was some foreign metallic debris likely from manufacturing that was throwing off the encoder.

It isn’t often that I feel it necessary to go out of my way to write a scathing review, or really a review of any kind, but this product has me so pissed that it only seems right that I warn others about the trap they’re going to fall into.

I’ll start with the only positive I can think of. The controller is pretty.

Let me preface this by saying I’ve been through 5 of these controllers thanks to Amazons generous return policy. I have purchased many pro controllers in the past, and like all controllers they end up meeting the same fate. Stick drift after a year or two. This controller promised to fix that, and I suppose on paper it does, however..

I believe wholeheartedly that the sticks they sell you/promote as durable and good for xyz amount of time, are designed to fail within a month, simply because you can just “order another one” for much less than the price of any other controller ($20 for one stick if your lucky). The sticks will give out on you, and you WILL be forced to buy more. Don’t fall for it.

The sticks aren’t the only issue though. My primary reason for returning these controllers over and over again was a strange issue that no influencer or YouTuber would mention. Double inputs. You’ll pull the trigger once and it’ll register 2+ pulls. You click A to open a menu, and it shoots you in the next 4 menus, causing you to accidentally confirm something, send an invite to someone, or sell an item. There is NO fix for this, just “replacements”. There is NO contact with thrustmaster. Amazon couldn’t get a hold of them either, which is why I was repeatedly given new controllers.

The tactile buttons are nice at first, but around a months time they start to feel unresponsive, either doing too much, or nothing at all. They lose that clicky appeal they had very quickly when every attempt at navigating a menu or rolling in dark souls turns into a button mashing simulator.

The UI/Application for this controller is abysmal. It is slow, it’s ugly, and half the time it doesn’t save the profiles you made for the controller. Oh, and speaking of controller profiles, your controller sometimes takes a mind of its own, and refuses to switch between profiles unless you repeatedly unplug/plug the controller.

For the $130 price tag, you can just as easily buy two standard wireless controllers, and an extra attachment for the buttons on the back.

Please, and I mean PLEASE, do NOT be fooled or swayed by YouTube videos like I was. This controller is nothing short of awful. Stick drift is an issue that desperately needs a fix, but dropping 20 bucks every month like your paying a membership for your thumbsticks isn’t the fix. This controller isn’t for consumers, it’s for the company’s pockets. Don’t be fooled.

Honestly I seen the reviews and was kinda worried but I have a buddy who swore it was a good controller which I mean when nothing wrong with it, it is! But literally after not even having the controller for 2 weeks the B button was starting to not register about a forth of the time I’d press it so thankfully Amazon let me return it for a new one. But now about a month and a half later my left trigger (LT) is starting to act up and when I press it in and release it sometimes for let’s say shooter games for example, ill stay zoomed in for a couple seconds extra before it lets me zoom back out. Theres an app that you can download with the controller to correct it I guess but why spend all this money for something that just isn’t gunna work fine right out the box without having to correct it. Also I get the whole gimmick thing with the controller as well is to be able to change the sticks out but literally after that month and a half both the sticks went crazy on the stick drift and I had to order 2 new sticks cost about another 50ish dollars cause it’s like 20 dollars for a thumb stick plus shipping yikes. Anyway. I do like the way the controller feels and the way the buttons click but yeah not worth for the problems I’ve been having. Don’t recommend.

Great controller, not sure why no one talks about how good the rumble is and how precise it is compared to others ones.

I appreciate it for it's versatility, as I use the racing module on it (do not have room for a wheel set), has a great D pad "splat" layout that works for Tekken and SF since it lets you roll your thumb for diagonals. Then, slip in the stick and voila - you can play every other game.

Stick drift wise ... stick drift is random for every controller ... even the best "elite" brands can have it in 2 weeks and etc. However, these are very sensitive - so any debris in the stick itself that works it's way in can nudge it just literally by 1/4 of an mm and it would detect it. My buddies who are a bit more aggressive with eating / dusty hands / dusty rooms, simply unscrew the screws in the stick module itself, blow it out, move it in circles, and it's good. (They used it for 1.5 years).

One fella did have a stick completely not work after 10 months - and replaced it since he found the argument of "sticks too expensive so I'll buy a cheaper controller and miss out the buttons and etc" a bit ridiculous --- for $35 to be able to get the precision, comfort, and great buttons for another 10 months ... why not?

Did it make me better in my games? Yes, and it made me enjoy my games more too than it the elite controller did. I can "click" / press buttons faster, rely on haptics to know I depressed a button fast enough then move on, and come on ... I can play three types of games in one sitting by just swapping modules in and out ...

The hard plastic on the outside makes it easy to clean too.

Nota geral para o controle: 9/10 - após aprox 2 semanas de uso.

Pontos positivos:
- Input lag imperceptível de fábrica. Efetuei o overclock do controle ainda assim e ele fica muito estável com 1.8~1.9ms de tempo de resposta;
- Botões com clicks excepcionais e muito responsivos;
- Analógicos com muita precisão;
- Bom software;
- Back buttons/Paddles muito bons;

Pontos negativos:
- Grip. Esperava um pouco mais desse grip, já que trata-se um controle bem caro. Mas, nada que me atrapalhe até o momento;
- Poderia vir com 4 paddles ou ter uma versão com 4 paddles (já que os paddles são diferentes do ESWAP X);
- Os botões de start e settings/options vêm em uma posição bem diferente, mas, nada que atrapalhe - basta se acostumar.

Até o momento essas são minhas percepções. Acho que é um dos melhores controles que já testei até agora e tomara que dure bastante.

TODO CONTROLE é passível de ter stick drift com o tempo, então, o fato de poder trocar os analógicos por analógicos novos sem precisar comprar um controle novo é muito atrativo. Na Kabum, já tem disponível os packs com analógicos substitutos caso alguém precise (Os analógicos do ESWAP X PRO funcionam no ESWAP S PRO, porém, são um pouquinho mais altos do que o padrão).

Recomendo o controle pra quem vai competir ou quer melhorar nas rankeds da vida. Se vc for um jogador mais casual, existem opções mais em conta!

*ATUALIZAÇÃO APÓS MAIS DE 1 ANO (Março de 2024):
Acabou dando stick drift em cerca de 6 meses e comprei 2 packs na Kabum (50 reais cada). Por algum motivo obscuro, 1 dos packs já veio com stick drift de fábrica (bem pequeno, mas precisei ajustar o deadzone), enquanto o outro segue sem stick drift e está perfeito. Fui pesquisar e parece que acontece com bastante gente esses casos de stick drift com menos de 1 semana.
Por sorte ou azar, compreis os últimos packs disponíveis na Kabum. Ou seja, se eu precisar de mais algum, ferrou kkkkkkkkkk - tenho acompanhado e já são alguns meses sem reposição. Ainda têm alguns disponíveis na Amazon (PORÉM POR MAIS DE 300 REAIS).

Mais um ponto positivo: Depois de algumas atualizações, agora é possível dar overclock no controle e deixá-lo com 0.9ms/1ms.

Sobre o estado do controle: Continua em ótimo estado, tudo funcionando perfeitamente. A pintura do botão Y está se apagando, infelizmente. A caixa dele é ótima para levar em viagens e eventos presenciais também.

GOSTO MUITO do controle ainda, porém se fosse reclamar de algo, seria:
- Deveriam ter mais packs de mini sticks à venda e deveriam ser mais baratos
- Os mini sticks poderiam ter um pouco mais de vida útil

 Avoid this controller at all cost! Replaceable joysticks are a joke to make you spend more money! I’ve had this controller for 3 months and I’ve already had 2 joysticks go bad. 1 drop is enough to break them. They feel great and are super good when they work but they get stick drift super easily and break easily. The controller overall feels good except the back buttons could have better placement but they’re solid same for D pad and other main buttons BUT that’s after only 3 months of use so who knows how long these would last. I do not intend on buying more joystick as it’s just going to end up costing me more than a higher end controller. If you’re on a budget, I strongly recommend you to avoid this controller as it’s only going to cost you the same or more overtime. I’ve never had a controller break this easily even PS1 controllers are sturdier than this piece of paper.

My left thumbstick started to get bad stick drift after about 2 months of use. bought a replacement stick and that only lasted less then a month. for the price you pay i excepted way better longevity. very disappointed

1.This controller fits very nice in every one of you're hands.
2.The hot joysticks are very easy to remove all you have to do is pull a little because there are magnets so they never fall out.
3.The D-pad feels a little weird at first but after a little bit you get used to its shape.
4.Now the Y, X, A and B buttons are a huge improvement from you're ordinary controller.
5.Now the bumpers are a perfect fit for you're finger and the triggers at first they feel a weird because of there shape but like with the other things you get used to it pretty quick and another thing i is that if you're moving controllers you might wonder why the triggers are a little stiffer but it depends on the personne because iv hade a controller that wasn't stiff and moving to this one took a little to get used to.
