Now as an adult, the portrayal of Ancient Rome, the ruthless Roman navy, the famous chariot scene, were all exceedingly well done. To see how one person, Christ Jesus, changed people and the world, in radical new thoughts. Then to see His crucifiction, God's scary reaction to His death, then Christ's resurrection is basically a type of time travel, glimpsing what was!! History!!!

First, the quality of the DVD is excellent. The extras are a great touch. It's so nice to see this movie, again. I think the last time I viewed it without commercials was as a kid in the theater as a re-release (which was awesome on the Cinerama screen).

Amazing to think this came just 3 years after "The Ten Commandments." (And there's Martha Scott as Charton Heston's mother, again. :->)
