Ajino-haha' Mirin is traditionally made in Japan of U.S.A. Lundberg organic short grain brown rice, brewed in cedar kegs. Essential in dashi noodle broth, teriyaki sauce, marinades, and sushi rice. Shoyu and mirin are the right and left hands of Japanese cooking. Mirin with some shoyu is a supreme marinade. Kosher.

I found this once in the international aisle at a local co-op and it quickly became one of my favorite things to cook with. It is brewed properly, which is why it costs more per ounce than aji-mirin, but it's worth it for an amazing dish.

Personally I like to cook fish or scallops with this and lime juice, and the remaining liquid after cooking is great to use to flavor other parts of the meal; aji-mirin doesn't work nearly as well for this purpose. I also cook other meats with it and it never fails to add a great flavor.
