Bought this to move a moped from San Diego to Washington (and back, several times). Make sure to get ratcheting tiedowns and counter pressure them. I'm a newbie to moving this kind of thing, but once I got ratcheting tiedowns it became a snape. The access ramp is attached with butterfly nuts and comes off easily, but isn't secured as a ramp (my only negative on this). After 9 years in storage, in weather, there is no sign of rust. A great value.
Can load it on my own (full-size 250# dirt bike)
Rails hold the tire while I strap it down
Anti-rattle clip works great with my hitch (Curt for Rav4)
Well-made, powdercoat is reasonably durable
Cons:
Somewhat low to the ground, will drag if there are abrupt elevation changes
Needed to add a bar at the front to get enough width to properly strap down bike. The attachment points are at the center, they don't properly compress the front shock as-is.
All-in-all, great carrier for the money. Not needing to deal with the hassle and expense of a trailer is huge for me. Yes it's low, but that also makes it easy to load. Wouldn't use it with a vehicle with less ground clearance from the hitch than the Rav, though.

Now, bigger bikes are more complex. The rack I received will actually hold 600lbs. But, most "factory" tow packages only have a tongue rating of 500lbs, which is why they rate it at only 500. When it's attached to my lifted 2010 Toyota FJ Cruiser, loading the bigger girls is a little more tricky. The ramp is quite short, so if you have even a slight amount of lift, that ramp will be VERY steep. While I have pulled my 1973 BMW R60/5 up under it's own power, it was very sketchy. I've found parking on the street and loading from a raised sidewalk helps lessen the angle on the ramp.
On the back of my wife's 2005 Chevy Tahoe (which is much lower than my FJ) it's a little easier to load. The hitch rating on the Tahoe is higher than my FJ, as well, so I can load my 1975 CB750F, which is getting pretty close to that 500lb Mark and could go over that in a "bounce" event. Now, even though the carrier is rated at 600lbs in the documentation you get, I wouldn't trust it for a cross country trek with a 550lb bike on it. So, maybe keep your Goldwing off of it.
Quality: Okay. Not terrible, not great. Metal is pretty thin so it dents fairly easily but I think it will hold up just find over time.
Installation: I couldn't get the hitch pin that was sent with it to fit properly in my receiver so I used another one I had. I had problems with the holes lining up with my hitch receiver so actually had to drill out the holes on this carrier to get the hitch pin in. After that it fit fine.
Other thoughts: I have a 4runner with a 3'' lift and bought this based upon others saying the ramp works fine with lifted trucks. Not the case. It's at a pretty steep incline to wheel the dirt bike up on. It's doable but I had to have a 2nd set of hands to keep it straight and push it up. Even with a stock truck or SUV, the ramp should be longer to wheel the bike up on to. Straps down pretty easy but has some play in it so make sure it's tight.
All and all, for the money it's hard to beat but it's not the best thing in the world. Cheaper than buying a trailer and stores smaller so it's worth it.
