We really liked Ben's mosquito repellent. It seemed to work as well as any other repellent containing Deet. And the 3.4 oz. bottle is ideal for those wishing to travel and get through TSA.Our only gripe was that the bottle would leak through the pump sprayer at the top, so we had to wrap the top half of the bottle in a towel and cinch it with a rubber band to prevent it from leaking further.

I have been using Ben's 100 for decades now. I keep going back to it because it works. A few precautions are in order however. A few drops on your hand and rubbed on face, ears, hat and exposed skin will keep the skeeter away but heavy swarms will find any untreated areas. It is safe with most fabrics but test. I wear mostly cotton and a few synthetic fabrics and have not had issues. It will react to some plastics and inks so wash your hands before using your key fob or pushing buttons. If you are hunting, game will smell you if you are upwind.

I bought these bottles for a vacation in Thailand, thinking I would be overwhelmed by the bugs. Luckily, they were not that bad when we were there in February/March. I did try to use this bug spray a couple of times but it was so messy and dripping that it was not worth the hassle. The spray part didn't spray a fine mist, not sure if that's due to the nature of the liquid or the actual bottle. But it was quite a mess which means you get it on your hands and there was not always a place to wash up before eating. Would not buy this product again.
