Why use a pet stroller

Why use a pet stroller?

Pet strollers are used for a variety of reasons. They help avoid stress on your pet's body if they are having trouble walking due to joint pain, arthritis, or recent surgery. Strollers also function as a crate on wheels. Wherever you go, your pet, whether it be a dog, cat, furry (or not so furry) friend, will be able to keep you company while remaining safely contained inside the stroller.

What is NO-ZIP

What is No-Zip?

No-Zip is one of the most innovative feature in pet strollers today. All strollers with the No-Zip feature have an easy-locking latch instead of a zippered closure. No zippers means no hassle, when trying to open and close the stroller. No-Zip technology allows you to easily gain access to your pet without fumbling with zippers.

Do I need Air Ride

Do I need Air Ride?

If you plan on jogging with your pet, taking your pet on long walks or to locations with rough terrain, the type of wheels on the stroller is a key factor to consider. The recommended tire type for any of the previously mentioned activities is Air Ride. Air Ride tires add extra comfort for your pet and provide an effortless stroll. With Air Ride you will also be able to lock the front wheel. This aids in stabilizing the stroller when jogging or traveling over rough terrain.

How do I select the best fit

How do I select the best fit?

Please refer to the comparison chart below (Interior Dimensions / Pet Cabin Size) when selecting your stroller. If you are wondering if your pet(s) will fit in a certain stroller, a good visual guide (especially if you intend to use the stroller for more than one pet) is to take a towel and fold it to the same interior dimensions (length and width) as the stroller. Then, place your pet(s) on the towel to make sure they will fit within the space comfortably. You should also measure the height of your pet when sitting to make sure they are at least 4 inch less than the interior height dimension listed for extra comfort.

LIFESAVER!

LIFESAVER!
I'm not one to leave reviews unless I'm that impressed with the product or horrified with it.However.....when I was reading reviews not many answered my questions relating to senior large dogs. I have a 13 year old half Pitty half American Bulldog. She has been slowing down over the months but lately she's having a hard time walking short distances. And I have a second dog that misses our long walks in the woods. It's been horribly sad watching her struggle to finish a walk.....so I started looking into strollers.Straight outta the box I was very impressed....right down to the front wheels....they have small spring "shock absorbers".....wheels snap in easily....easy to collapse....plastic drink holder is a little flimsy. Adjustable handle is awesome.Unable to get through a door without collapsing and lifting it sideways. I would have given 5 stars but the brakes aren't up to my liking. Very wobbly loading and unloading her. She's around 86 pounds. I'm having a hard time believing it would be of sufficient size for a Golden, Lab, Rotty etc......my girl jumped right into it with a few PupPeroni motivational treats. She LOVED IT! We only brought it around the neighborhood for a trial run because I want to get a memory foam pad for it.Although I'm not impressed with the brakes and find that it can be a safety hazard (first time in I wasn't expecting it to wobble so much, she jumped out and caught her front paw through the bars on the side)......it's still AMAZING. I can't even begin to tell you how much it's been killing me watch her struggle to walk.....she loves it.It's very easy to push.... even for me (I'm an orthopedic mess). Not too heavy to lift....but does take up alot of room in my hatchback. If you're like me and your dogs are your world buy this! I'm sure there are more expensive products on the market but who knows if the brakes are any better.

5.0 out of 5 stars Perfect for my elderly Lab mix. Let's her be included.
Reviewed in the United States on December 19, 2019
What a well made unit. Bought it for my severely arthritic lab mix. She has serious joint issues so was no longer able to join the younger dogs on our daily walks. Leaving her behind made her very sad. We were traveling all year in our RV. Getting this carriage was a life changer. She was all smiles and happily loaded up so we could go on walks as a pack. The other dogs quickly learned to walk next to it on either side. The cup holders are great. Also appreciated the closing compartment on the tray that fit my phone inside to keep it and my keys safe and dry. The adjustable angle and height of the handle was terrific. Moves well and easily. I did add an additional padded dog bed inside to make my girl more comfy on longer walks. The padding that comes with it is OK. But not super cozy. That is the only thing I would upgrade. But better by far than other units I looked at. Truly appreciate being able to load and unload from either the front or the back. Folds up easily to take in and out of my truck too. Also use it to take her to the groomer or the Vet to get nail trims or to appointments since walking the distance into and out of the shop or clinic is too taxing on her now. Allows her to lie comfortably while they work on her and they have easy access from the front or the back with the top accordianed up. Enthusiastically endorse this product. We call it the Royal Carriage. Couldn't be more perfect. I only wish they would make a rain fly for the top. I love the zipperEd screen top section to allow access to pat her and so she can peek her head out sometimes. But on rainy days here in the Pacific Northwest I have to rig up a temp rain fly with a heavy duty trash bag that I bungee into place. Otherwise water gets in and makes her uncomfortable. A rain fly that could snap on and off to cover it would be terrific.

5.0 out of 5 stars Spacious and smooth ride for our mature dog
Reviewed in the United States on July 16, 2020
Our oldest dog is getting up there in age. Recently, after some other health setbacks, he suffered an injury to one of his hind legs and he can’t walk well or far, which was unfortunate because he loves walks and going to the park. In the stroller, we can now push him to the park, where he can get out and join his canine sibling to play and fetch.

It took a couple trips before he was finally got comfortable. Now, he’s pretty relaxed and enjoys getting pushed. When he sits up and gets excited, it can cause the stroller to sway a bit, but otherwise it’s pretty steady. Where the pavement is uneven, it does jostle a bit and requires extra effort to get over any large humps. Unless you’re going uphill, the stroller is extremely easy to push and maneuver.

For us, the stroller is extremely spacious. For reference, our dog is about 34 inches long from nose to butt (where his tail begins) and about 42 pounds. After reading tons of reviews, I was worried that a lot of other strollers were insufficiently long to provide a comfortable ride, but this has been great so far. Our dog can lie down without feeling cramped and we can even put their supplies in the stroller with room to spare.

It maneuvers well, but it is definitely wide. I also like that you don’t have to lift your dog in order to put him into the stroller. His tail once got pushed out between the floor board and the walls. Nothing happened but the tail got uncomfortably close to a wheel when I finally noticed it. So that’s something to keep an eye on.

I do agree with some of the other reviewers: pushing a behemoth dog stroller around will test your pride. Lol. But what are you going to do? You’ll get a lot of stares, but it is worth it for our mature guy.

Perfect size for my 3 adult cats to lay together comfortably, nice and roomy, 3 different ways to help them inside, easy to assemble, nice big wheels and 360 rotation allows for easy turns and smooth ride, adjustable handle makes for super comfortable handling, sturdy and well-made but not too heavy to lift, not cheap looking, works well on bumpy terrain, well worth the $, couldn't possibly imagine a more perfect stroller for our daily walks. Best of all, the Gingerbread Boyz (my kitties) love it so much they sit and sleep in it when it's parked at home. Fantastic product.

Reviewed in Canada on January 4, 2024
The design is appealing, but the quality is disappointingly low. Within just a few weeks, it began to deteriorate; the seams of the cover started to come undone, and the zipper began to fray. I had a feeling it wouldn't last long. Just yesterday, one of the front wheels broke off. It's all made from cheap plastic. I paid roughly $480, including taxes and import deposits, which is not exactly inexpensive for such quality... Buyers, be warned! CHRONOLOGY: Purchased May 25th 2023 got it sometime in mid june 23 , Broken and thrown away Jan 3rd 2024.
