................................................................................
Love Is Blind meets You've Got Mail in this laugh-out-loud romantic comedy following two thirty-somethings who meet on a blind dating app - only to realize that their online chemistry is nothing compared to their offline rivalry.
Perpetually cheerful and eager to please, Gracie Cooper strives to make the best out of every situation. When her father dies, she sets aside her dreams of pursuing her passion for art to take over his Midtown Manhattan champagne shop. She soon finds out that the store's profit margins are being squeezed and a giant corporation headed by the impossibly handsome, but irritatingly arrogant Sebastian Andrews is proposing a buyout.
Gracie can't bear the thought of throwing away her father's dream and, overwhelmed, she seeks advice and solace from the faceless 'Sir', with whom she connected on a blind dating app where matches get to know each other before exchanging real names or photos.
But although Gracie finds herself slowly falling for Sir online, she has no idea she's already met him in real life...and they can't stand each other.

It’s sweet and clean, but the longing is so visceral, and confusing, that it doesn’t matter. This is romance for the absolute joy of it 🥰🥰🥰
It's always refreshing to read single POV, especially when the author is so skilled at conveying the other MC's thoughts without us seeing inside their heads.
Another beautiful job by Lauren Layne.
It was such a fun sweet and sexy read full of good humour and wonderful characters that I could read about over and over.
Sebastian and Gracie were both great people, they both were hard workers and both adored their families and they also had a lot of chemistry, I loved these characters a lot.
I also loved all of the side characters, all of their friends and family were such a great support crew and loyal to the core.
The storyline was brilliant, with great imagery, I could absolutely feel myself right there with everyone sipping beautiful champagne 🥂
I absolutely adored the ending of this book and thought it was perfect for the storyline.
Great RomCom, one that I totally recommend.

To Sir With Love is a witty, laugh-out- loud, swoon worthy story that captured my heart. It was filled with delicious food, bubbly champagne, beautiful art and talk of fairytales. The story had me smiling from beginning to end. It was the perfect short, light, adorable read that I was looking for, I literally read it in one sitting. I absolutely loved the main and side characters. The family relationships were so incredibly sweet, I loved their development through out the book.

“Put in Big Bang, finish your masterpiece and then do the big bang, even if it’s virtually. That’s an order,”

Classic enemies to lovers trope. Gracie and Sebastian are very likeable characters. If you’ve enjoyed the movie, you will really enjoy this book. There is a lot more to Gracie’s character in the book as opposed to Kathleen’s in the movie. Gracie has a fully fleshed life in terms of family, friends and interests. She’s kind, funny and empathetic while at first Sebastian comes across as aloof (because we see him through Gracie’s eyes), but he’s actually a kind and considerate person too.
My favourite part of the book is how the writer has been able to keep the whole ‘anonymous online’ equation so believable in the 2020s, considering its far more difficult now to not know who you’re talking to, as opposed to the 90s when You’ve Got Mail came out. I can totally believe that somewhere out there someone would create an app where you’re not allowed to post your picture and instead have to put up a digital avatar.
Total 5 star read especially if you love the movie. It’s not deep or philosophical but it is charming enough to hook you to a chair for a couple of hours.
