The Border Guard is a very important tool for EDC and your personal protection
I was VERY impressed by the quality of this Smith and Wesson Border Guard knife , in fact I’ve bought a few of them so I’ll never be far from a necessary tool for work, home, travel, EDC, personal protection, infact I’ve also bought my daughters each one of them for their personal protectionNOTEKNIFE ALSO HAS WINDOW SMASHER ON BUT OF KNIVE, AND AUTOMOBILE SEATBELT CUTTER BUILT INTO TOP REAR OF THE HANDLE, AND HAS A EYELET FOR A LANYARD IF SO DESIRED BY THE USERALSOUSE CAUTION ON FIRST USE OUT OF THE BOXTHESE KNIVES ARE EXTREMELY SHARP AND DO NOT NEED TO BE SHARPENED AT ALL (at least the one I bought anyway)I love the sturdiness overall of the Boarder GuardErgonomic is good for me, I have large hands, very easy to operate, blade slides open and locks with minimal effort, locking mechanism has solid engagement and easy to release!!!The overall craftsman is excellent and exactly what I would expect from an iconic company like Smith &Wesson as far as I’m consideredAlso note:A few reviews complained about the gritty feeling of the handle, it’s designed that way to ensure proper positive grip with or without gloves, if you don’t like it, I suggest getting a pair of mechanics gloves from Napa Auto or a decent pair of tactical gloves from your favorite supplier to suit your soft tender hands...
