Obviously if I was a finish carpenter or something I would probably have negative things to say about this sander for the professional. But for the rest of us, this is an amazing sander! It's quality built, has the features you need and does exactly what it's supposed to do. I can't tell you the number of times I've pulled this out to do tasks around the house, and it's saved me a lot of time and effort. I've had zero issues with it and couldn't be happier!

Its works fine like any other sander i have a dewalt palm sander as well and id compare the too i guess. This one is just a bit louder.

The MAJOR CON on it is I've been using it for months now and one of the workers used it without the sandpaper idiot.....and ruin the pad so no sandpaper sticks to it at all now. Try to find replacement pads for it and nothing is compatible I bought one for a makita and a off brand one and even tried using my dewalt one and neither one of them worked, they screw on fine but when I put it on the sander it'll either slows down dramatically on the high speed or doesn't osculate at all and wines really loud when on the wall or surface, so its pretty much no good anymore unless you can find one thats compatible, I've exhausted my options.

for the cost of purchase is worth it just be aware it has a low strength motor and is rough when you try to do some metal finish projects, works fine on wood if you want to wait a while to let it do the job. I'm using it to clean up metal plates for patina and as it's a bit weak for my purpose but it's within my budget.
