I previously wore out a pair of keen utility shoes. Put over 2000 miles(off-road @230+ lbs, 3 years old) on them before they started to blow out. As a result of that success I decided to buy another pair of keens. I determined that I needed a stiffer sole (rock bruises,etc) than the other pair so I opted for the target 3 low height waterproof hiking shoes. The initial fit was a bit stiff, a bit uncomfortable, and required break in. It took about 30 miles of hiking before I felt as comfortable as my utility shoe. That said I wouldn't let that stop you. I am ordering another pair for casual wear because I like them so much. Another thing is that I've been hiking through wet, nasty slushy snow and the waterproofing has been great. For the price --> I give Five stars 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟 and two thumbs up👍👍.
