Aidells Sausage Company was founded in 1983 in the San Francisco Bay Area by Chef Bruce Aidells. He mixed apple chunks, sun-dried tomatoes, artichoke hearts, and mangoes with fresh high quality chicken & turkey meat, and stuffed these ingredients into natural casings. Before Chef Bruce Aidells came along, sausage was something you ate with eggs in the morning or picked up from the butcher for a special cookout.

Exactly as advertised. Sliced them up, pan fried, and put in fettucini alfredo sauce. Completely transformed the dish. Would absolutely buy again.

I enjoy these with a little honey mustard or sliced up and added to some Prego spag sauce. Also makes a pretty good hot dog.

Here’s what you do, okay? Buy two boxes of Zatarain’s Red Beans and Rice and one package of this sausage. Follow the directions on the box and cut up two sausages and stick ‘em in. If you’re fancy cut up some celery and bell pepper and throw that in. Cook. Eat. Extra credit: put the red beans and rice and sausage in a tortilla for a New Orleans burrito. Add Crystal hot sauce. Done!

Pretty decent andouille sausage, but the flavor could have been a little richer, considering it used pork.

I was looking for hot Polish sausage that my parents used to buy when I was young, but then our Safeway closed and I couldn't find them anymore. I was worried I would never find them again or find anything comparable. I finally looked on here and these kept popping up so I tried them and was in heaven! They taste exactly like what I was looking for, and will continue to buy these regularly. They're probably best grilled and diced up for a good hot cheesy omelet!

The only time I use this Andouille sausage is when I make Jambalaya - it’s the main ingredient that says “New Orleans” because Jambalaya without Andouille is just another “soup” ! I prefer this brand because it isn’t overly fatty and adds real authenticity. Once opened just pop it into a zip freezer bag and it keeps for months.

Good spicy flavor, but I had to spit out several large chunks of inedible gristle and skin. I like that it wasn’t finely ground, but there should be a happy medium.
