Regretting You Copertina flessibile – 10 dicembre 2019
Opzioni di acquisto e componenti aggiuntivi
The #1 Wall Street Journal bestseller that People Magazine calls “a poignant, addictive read.”
From #1 New York Times bestselling author of It Ends with Us comes a novel about family, first love, grief, and betrayal that will touch the hearts of both mothers and daughters.
Morgan Grant and her sixteen-year-old daughter, Clara, would like nothing more than to be nothing alike.
Morgan is determined to prevent her daughter from making the same mistakes she did. By getting pregnant and married way too young, Morgan put her own dreams on hold. Clara doesn’t want to follow in her mother’s footsteps. Her predictable mother doesn’t have a spontaneous bone in her body.
With warring personalities and conflicting goals, Morgan and Clara find it increasingly difficult to coexist. The only person who can bring peace to the household is Chris―Morgan’s husband, Clara’s father, and the family anchor. But that peace is shattered when Chris is involved in a tragic and questionable accident. The heartbreaking and long-lasting consequences will reach far beyond just Morgan and Clara.
While struggling to rebuild everything that crashed around them, Morgan finds comfort in the last person she expects to, and Clara turns to the one boy she’s been forbidden to see. With each passing day, new secrets, resentment, and misunderstandings make mother and daughter fall further apart. So far apart, it might be impossible for them to ever fall back together.

Bello.

From the very first page, Hoover's words wrap around you like a warm embrace. As a female reader, I found myself immediately drawn to her relatable characters and their emotional struggles. The story revolves around Morgan Grant, a fiercely devoted mother who faces unimaginable challenges after tragedy strikes her family. The way Hoover portrays Morgan's journey touched me on a deeply personal level.
What sets Regretting You apart is its authentic portrayal of the complexities of relationships between mothers and daughters. As women, we often grapple with the delicate balance between our own desires and aspirations while simultaneously caring for our loved ones. Morgan's selflessness in putting her daughter Clara first was both inspiring and heartbreaking to witness.
The emotional depth that permeates this novel is nothing short of remarkable. Hoover delves into themes such as grief, regret, growth, and forgiveness with such precision that it feels as if she has reached into the depths of our hearts and laid bare our own experiences. Through Morgan's story, I found solace in knowing that it's okay to struggle with conflicting emotions and make mistakes along our journey.
The strength of female bonds is beautifully depicted in Regretting You. The complex relationship between Morgan and Clara serves as a reminder that even amidst misunderstandings or disagreements, love prevails in the end. Witnessing their growth as individuals while navigating their shared pain was both empowering and cathartic.
Colleen Hoover's masterful storytelling ensures that every page leaves you yearning for more answers while simultaneously dreading the potential heartache ahead. The pacing is perfectly crafted, allowing the emotional tension to build and unravel at just the right moments. As a female reader, I found myself fully invested in these characters' lives, eagerly turning each page to discover their fates.
Regretting You is more than just a book; it's an emotional journey that invites us to reflect on our own lives. It reminds us of the strength we possess as women and the resilience we display in the face of adversity. Colleen Hoover's exquisite writing style effortlessly transports us into a world where we can find solace, understanding, and hope.
In closing, Regretting You is an incredibly moving novel that speaks directly to the hearts of female readers. Its relatable characters, thought-provoking themes, and powerful storytelling make it a must-read for any woman seeking an emotional connection with literature. Prepare yourself for laughter, tears, and a renewed appreciation for the indomitable spirit of women as you immerse yourself in this captivating tale.
