I own every Underworld album and have been a fan since the mid 1990s. When all is said and done, this is probably my singular favorite album. This is also my favorite live album and an essential own for the Underworld fan. Since the group plays Born Slippy and Pearls Girl, it also makes a great album for the novice electronic fan who might not know Underworld, but be familiar with those tracks.
The production of the album is fantastic, capturing crowd noise at the right moments and drowning it out when the music gets going. The crowd is sprinkled in during breaks, quiet moments, and crescendos. It's just about perfect, never overwhelms the music and if anything adds to the energy of the listening experience.
I was a fan of these songs before the release of this album, but I prefer how Underworld mixes them here and performs them live. Fantastic effort, A+, five stars!
