I loved Beckett and Arianne's story. They found themselves stuck in a lift when there was a power cut. When the power comes back on, and they both get free, they both go their separate ways never thinking they will see each other again. When a client ghosts Arianne twice, her friend gives her a lead on someone looking for someone of Arianne's caliber. When she turns up for the interview, she is shocked to find Beckett will be one of her new bosses. Beckett finds himself increasingly attracted to Arianne, but he has a problem: he has a bet with his co-owner Rhys, which is complicating his burgeoning romance with Arianne.
If you love a steamy romance with a few twists and turns you will enjoy this book. Scarlett keeps you turning the pages with Beckett and Arianne's steamy relationship.

Beckett and Arianne have a disastrous first encounter that leaves them both thinking about the encounter for weeks afterwards. Little did they know they would be thrown back together and have to work in harmony to better both of their careers.

Unexpected HEA after these two fight the emotions and the intense attraction between the two of them, then finally give in. The spicy in this book is HOTT, sneaky little trysts, hiding in plain sight with others none the wiser. Add some drama and you have another amazing read from Scarlett Avery.
I will ALWAYS be happy to read one of her books.

Scarlett hit it out of the park again. There is something so sexy about a man that can sing and play instruments. This book has a great mix of a good story mixed in with sexy hot moments. I loved it! I’m sure you’ll love it too.

I often find it difficult to read such a long novel because the author will lose pace or my interest wanes half way through. I thought I’d browse this novel then circle back eventually. Not so with this book. Scarlett made sure to grab my attention and hold on until the very end, then left me wanting more with the next book in the series with Rhys. And yes, I will be checking out Easton’s story as well, & considering others who were interconnected here. Absolutely brilliant read!!
