Excellent Product, 2 day delivery !
Thrilled to receive my 30cm skillet today, it is everything I hoped for. Now to save up for the Dutch Oven ..EDIT: I have now been using for a few weeks, on average 4 or 5 times a week. Before 1st use I washed and dried it well, oiled and heated it on my glass cooktop for maybe 20 mins then rubbed off the excess oil. I have had no problems with sticking or rust at all. I dry and re-oil after every use and heat on cooktop for approx 20 mins before storing. The handles definitely need a silicon protector. The reason they do not have a long wooden handle is because a skillet is designed to be able to finish cooking in an oven if required after 1st searing. There is plenty of information on the web about caring for and using cast iron properly. Those complaining have obviously not done due diligence and researched properly.

5.0 out of 5 stars Nice cast iron pan and good value for money
Reviewed in Australia on 31 May 2019
This is quite a nice cast iron pan and represents good value for money. If you're thinking about trying cast iron cooking this is a good place to start (or the larger 12"). The finish is quite good, a little rougher than a Lodge would be. The pouring sides are nice. The handle seems a little shorter than the 12cm advertised, although I guess it depends on the starting point where the manufacturer measures.

While this does come pre-seasoned, as with all cast iron pre-seasoned cookwear, it's best to give it a good wash/scrub (immediately dry!) and season it yourself.

Jan 2022 Update: Been using this for 2.5 years at this point and it's our most used cast iron pan. I actually like that it's that it's a bit lighter than the same sized Lodge - yes that means less material but it's more comfortable to handle day in and day out - and we use this pan daily, morning and night. It's still in great condition - as long as you look after cast iron cookware it'll last you a lifetime!

4.0 out of 5 stars It’s ok, above average, but not revolutionary.
Reviewed in Australia on 14 January 2021
Despite the name, it is made in China. It seems ok. Middle of the road or above average?
It is smooth, and not grainy, (say compared to a lodge pan) but it’s also not super smooth, with machining marks visible (as pictured). It has a small primary handle (which is handy, for storage purposes, but be aware). The helper handle is very sturdy and well designed. The pan seems ok, but does have the odd few pits in conjunction with the machining marks. It’s not super thick, which makes it more easily handled. If budget is a concern, there are better value options, but this is above average and cooks well. It retains and distributes heat well, if it were slightly heavier in the base this would be 5 stars for heat distribution.

5.0 out of 5 stars Excellent value
Reviewed in Australia on 11 November 2022
I have recently purchased a Gozney Dome and, wanting to do more than pizza, bought this 32cm skillet.
At a third of the cost of a similar-sized Lodge, I have to say it is excellent value.
Although it came preseasoned, I gave it a quick wash and another coat of oil before popping it back into the oven. This barramundi and potatoes is one of the first things I roasted and it came out beautifully. Nothing stuck to the bottom and clean up was a breeze.

Although this pan comes ready seasoned I done the process again for my own peace of mind.I have used the pan many times since and it has been faultless even cooking fried eggs with only a misting of rapeseed oil with zero sticking. The heat distribution is very even without any noticeable hotspots and yes it does get better with age.I clean it in hot water without any soap and this is very important I then put in back on the heat to dry out and let it cool.Do not plunge it in cool water. Finally i apply a very light misting of rapeseed oil and remove excess with a paper towel before putting away.If you do this it won’t rust. After a bit of use it will form a very good non stick surface and if cared for will last for years
