I don't know why, but I got hooked on the taste of cucumber in beverages. I love Mr. Q Cumber soda (which is now impossible to find in stores or online -- presumably due to pandemic issues). And I loved the cucumber vodka that a local distillery used to produce (now out of business). I notice that there are now a few name-brand vodkas out there that have started to bottle cucumber and mint vodkas. (Have not tried these yet.)
But, searching on Amazon for cucumber soda, I came across this. At about $1.35/can it is reasonably priced. No more than you would pay in a store. And, it includes shipping. To me, this is a bargain. The beverage has a fairly strong cucumber flavor (perhaps not as strong as Mr. Q Cumber soda). It is lightly sweetened -- which gives it a very good taste, low in calories. Excellent as a mixer for various cocktails, or to drink "as is". The carbonation is surprisingly high -- not as highly carbonated as a CocaCola, but very high.
This cucumber flavor is a definite winner. Cucumber has a flavor that is difficult to describe, but tastes like nothing else. And, it is not a particularly strong taste. But it is has a very identifiable flavor. It is a quirky flavor amongst flavors.
