FAQ: What are Wikki Stix made of?

  • Wikki Stix are NON-TOXIC, made of food-grade wax, like you’d find in bubble gum and lipstick… along with hand-knitting yarn, like you’d use to knit an afghan. Wholly made in the USA.
  • They do not contain gluten, latex, dairy, nor any nuts or nut by-products.
  • The wax provides that “stickability” factor, so they stick to paper and other smooth surfaces with just fingertip pressure. No glue, no paste.
  • And…they are easy to peel up and reposition to make changes. So “mistakes” virtually disappear, which helps build self-confidence.

    I bought these for my kids (well, the Easter Bunny bought them) because I remember having them as a kid.They are STILL AWESOME!First and foremost, they are truly mess-free. They are basically pieces of yarn covered in a bendable, non-chippable wax. The texture is slightly sticky, but practically no mess is left on fingers, skin, table, rug, couch, etc. Sometimes fingertips have a SLIGHT waxiness to them, but it really is minimal and COLORLESS. They can go anywhere with you and not make a mess.Wikki Stix are bendable, twistable foldable, coil-able, moldable, throwable and REUSABLE, therefore, eco-friendly. They stick extremely well together and are easy to pull apart. The only thing I know from when using these is that they sometimes leave a waxy residue behind, but it is very easy to clean up!
